Vacation rentals with lake access in Honshu

Thank you for having us in your lovely house. It’s a very cosy place with everything you need. The hosts are very helpful we hope to stay again.

C’est une maison traditionnelle japonaise. Elle est très bien décorée et peut accueillir facilement 4 voyageurs. Quand il fait beau, il y a une belle vue du mont Fuji depuis la maison. Elle se trouve à 2 min d’un beau temple. À savoir que la maison est à environ 5km de la gare dé kawaguchiko, donc je conseillerais de louer une voiture pour être autonome et se balader autour du mont Fuji sans prendre les bus (facile de se garer): Je recommande ce logement à 100%.

Mit einem Auto eine perfekte Unterkunft. Ohne Auto ist die Anbindung schwierig.

What a pleasure to stay in a house after 10 days of Japanese small hotel rooms! 1.      The general atmosphere is warm, peaceful, comfortable and lovely. A lot of interesting objects and decoration. 2.      Real kitchen with all the necessary utensils and lovely Japanese dishes 3.      Good bed 4.      Music room with a vinyl player, classical vynils and art books. 5.      Coffee machine that makes the best coffee we drank in Japan. 6.      Mosquito nets on the windows. 7.      Birds singing outside. 8.      Walking distance of a family mart superette with all the necessary 9.      The owners took us from the station to the house and back on departure. We used the bus from Okayama, quite easily. 10. Electric bicycles are available 11. Distance from the house to Uno port (ferry to the islands) : 20 minutes cycling (easy, apart from the last slope to the house). At Uno port, direct ferry to Naoshima (20 min) and to Teshima (30 min). We wish to find other places like that !

We had a perfect stay here. The house was very comfortable and had everything you would need. This was the first listing I think I could actually live. We visited 3 nights with my wife and 1,5 year old daughter. Plenty to do in the area, either closeby or an hour driving away. The host was super kind, very quick to respond on any questions we had and gave tips during our stay. Absolutely recommend this place.

Beautiful home next to Lake Biwa. Its a refreshing break from the city and the neighbors are all very nice. The house was very clean and spacious, the host was always responsive and helpful, even gave me a ride when I left back to the train station so I didn't have to walk with all my luggage. Only downside would be the steep stairs, so if you have balance issues maybe sleep in the room downstairs. Overall very nice place and my 2 weeks went by too quickly here. Will definitely rebook next time I'm in Kyoto/Osaka area.

This place was absolutely amazing. Super spacious, comfortable, and just a short walk from the train station. The views were phenomenal, and taking the bike around the community was a highlight. Just be ready for a few hills (you’ll feel in shape after!). The beach is right in front of the property, and the night views are unreal. There are some awesome local food spots and cozy cafes nearby. The host and her family were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their home is beautiful. I’m already looking forward to planning another trip here. I’d absolutely recommend staying if you get the chance.

靜 準備的民宿真的太棒了 雖然不會見到面，可是訊息聯絡及回覆都很主動，不會讓你覺得有怠慢的感覺， 整個空間很窩心， 也很有日本傳統住宿的氛圍！ 尤其是衛浴設施，非常新且乾淨。 民宿後方走路不遠處有琵琶湖，真的很美，附近也有Mini shop可買吃的， 總之如果你喜歡清幽乾淨的房間，京 瑠璃是你不錯的入住選擇！

Yui was very helping even before we arrived by providing tips on the surrounding train stations for easy travels. She was thoughtful to provide a stroller since we had kids in tow. She even welcomed us with a snack that was delicious. Her place was surrounded by places to eat and shop. Never had any issues of finding something to explore or do. After a long day of exploring, it was nice to rest in her home. It was spacious and away from all the street noise. If I ever had a question, she would be quick to respond. I would definitely book with her again knowing she’s a great host.

The room was exactly as described, the host super nice and flexible. The room is above a really nice bar, and surprisingly there is no noise at all! However, the room is pretty far from the center, around 45 mins from Shinjuku. So it depends on what you're looking for!

Just as the pictures show, a very nice place for traveling couple like us! The place is clean, and location is convenient with a metro station and a convenience store. Coin laundry at 1st floor is helpful too.

Chiyo était adorable et très réactive durant tout notre séjour ! Elle nous a accueillie aux petits soins. L’appartement était conforme à la description : très propre, grand pour deux personnes avec tout le matériel nécessaire. Salle de bain adjacente il faut sortir de l’appartement pour y accéder mais ce n’est pas un soucis car c’est vraiment à côté et elle est très grande. Je recommande !

Tout est parfait. C’est neuf. C’est grand. Cela répond aux critères de la propreté japonaise. Ultra bien équipé. Il ne manque rien. Grâce à une clef cassée, nous avons rencontré notre hôte. Charmant, si serviable, si sympa. Il a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Il a réussi. Merci. Hammamatsu est une ville à découvrir pendant son festival des cerfs volants.

Amazing place, right in the heart of Dotonbori, close to trains, restaurants, markets. Super nice and friendly host

家族4人で滞在しました。部屋もきれいに清掃されていて居心地がよかったです。目の前にスーパーがあり、他にもたくさんの飲食店があったので、食事には困りません。駅前にありますが、少し路地を入ったところなのもあり、騒がしさもなくよかったです。またぜひ利用したいです！

After the noise and chaos of central Tokyo, it was great to unwind in Saitama. The accomodation was perfect for solo travel, and had everything that was needed (I would like to highlight the excellent laundromat nearby). The host communicated perfectly and quickly, and was very accommodating to my panicked questions. Wonderful experience altogether.

Lovely stay at Yoshi’s place. Very close to the lake. The house is clean and indoor facilities are designed well.

ワンコ1匹と家族で宿泊しました。犬のためのアメニティもそろえてくださっていて、私たちとともにワンコもくつろいで過ごすことができました。また、1階にベッドを用意してくださったので慣れない環境でもワンコも安心して過ごせました。 周辺の環境は散歩をするのにちょうどよく、朝の散歩が気持ちよかったです。 多くの配慮をありがとうございました。

設備内容や建物の雰囲気がよく、とても快適に過ごすことができました。特に基本の調味料や料理器具が全て揃っている点が便利でした。ロケーションもコンビニ等のアクセスがよい一方で、プライペートな空間が確保されており、また利用したいと思いました。

我们一家8口在这非常日式又创新的房子里度过了非常难忘的一天…一进入房子就被深深的吸引住了…我们到达的时间已经有点晚了…可是屋主还是非常热情的接待我们…还不忘提醒我们在来的路上要小心…因为当天山中湖下雪了…我们一家人的第一次下雪体验就是在这里体验了…真的被周围迷人的雪景给迷住了…虽然看不到富士山但是却得到了非常迷人的雪景…距离山中湖的个个网红打卡点都非常靠近…但是这一次的旅程我们没机会看到迷人的富士山…希望以后还能有机会再来一次这个房子…然后再欣赏富士山不一样的美景…我在这里非常非常的推荐大家入住这家温馨舒适民宿…there will be a next time only if there is regret..

We booked for only 1 night at first, but enjoyed the place so much we had to extend for another night! The place is just like as described. Because the furniture, kitchenware and amenities are from Muji, it made everything 100 times cooler. Peaceful and beautiful nature surrounding the house. We absolutely enjoyed the campfire on the patio!

GWに両親と子供を連れ総勢7名での旅。 ホテルより自由度の高い民泊を選びました。 ロケーションは満足を通り越して富士山の真ん前で心洗われました。 2日目はワカサギを釣りに行きましたが、船のみんなボウズでワカサギを貰って来ました。 食事も済ませたので隣にいるホストにあげたつもりがフライにして食べさせてくれました。 晩はどこも混んでるのでBBQをしようと急に思いつきました。 急な対応を求めましたが、すぐグリルや炭を用意して貰い美味しくBBQを楽しめました。 2泊3日の滞在でしたが、楽しめました。 ありがとうございました。 またお邪魔します。

琵琶湖沿いにある一棟貸しのお家です。 テラスから直接砂浜に降りることもできます。 テラスでBBQができ景色がとても綺麗で周りも静かでした。 キッチン周りも充実しており基本的な調理器具や食器類は揃っています。 リビングに大きいソファもあるので非常に快適な過ごせました。
