I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. We had a great stay at this lovely home. Quiet, serene, adorablely furnished, we would have liked to have stayed more. The hosts are responsive and warm, we recommend!

Excellent home. Exactly as per photos - very cute and very functional. 5 minutes walk to station and bus stops to everywhere. A 2 minutes walk to Konbini and local supermarket with great fresh sushi and sashimi. The bathtub looking onto the private courtyard was very welcome after a day of walking!

We will properly heal and return to the accommodation that is so relaxing and peaceful. I will miss the morning of greeting birdsong in nature. I also really enjoyed the traditional Japanese grilled experience with the host family. We will make unforgettable memories in a beautiful traditional Japanese house. It was a pity that I only stayed for 2 nights, but I will definitely visit again next time. I'll see you next time with the friendly and warm host family!

Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Great walkable location for us. Would 100% recommend. The host gave us lots of local recommendations and we even managed to catch a local festival because of it.

Lovely stay in Ieno house. Really beautiful and homely and the outdoor tub/ onsen was lovely. Area wise it’s nice and quiet with cafes as you walk around. Theres a bus stop about 7minutes walk and a subway maybe 8 minutes walk so it’s nicely connected. The bedding was comfortable as well. We found lots of plant based breakfast places around the area too. Honestly love Kyoto and this place as a base was a perfect balance for us.

We stayed at Takeshi’s place for 6 days during our first visit to Kyoto and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house was lovely and very clean, had a great kitchen, and we really enjoyed the outdoor garden and shower/bath. Takeshi was a very kind and responsive host and sent a great list of recommendations for the area. The neighborhood was quiet but close to transportation. The stairs are steep so keep that in mind if you have small children, but for 4 adults it was no issue at all. I highly recommend staying here during a visit to Kyoto!

I used it with a couple of friends this time!I was very impressed by the room, the kitchen, and the garden, which were all very clean and full of amenities!!The kids were delighted with the pool!It was so much fun that one night wasn't enough, and I made great memories!I am very satisfied because it was a space I don't usually get to enjoy!I really wanted to go with everyone again!

Really amazing house and well thought out design and interior. Very peaceful with a great kitchen, utensils and everything you can think of. Even kitchen knives were high quality Henckels and not cheap ones like you would expect to see in an AirBnB. Very private and pristine surroundings and very close to everything in Nasu with a good supermarket nearby. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The rooms in the Sky City are spacious and bright, with great sea views.We had an extraordinary experience during our stay, the owner gave us the most enthusiastic and warmest service.Although I was a little unwell on the island, fortunately, I met the landlord couple who were also Chinese. They took us out of the island to the hospital every day. I was really grateful, and they invited us to eat and drink in the Moon City.I am so moved that I can't express it. The first stop on my next trip to Japan will definitely be the Sky City.Thanks again to Brother AI and his wife, we'll continue to drink until we're drunk when we come back.

It was very easy to understand and polite.The inn is surrounded by nature and in a calm location, and there were many places to visit nearby, such as suspension bridges and cafes, so it was nice.In addition, you can rent an electric bicycle, so I was able to easily walk around the area.I'd love to stay again.

I have used it before, and this time the check-in location was different, but I was informed in advance, and it was very smooth. It was very clean, the view was beautiful, and the directions were easy to understand. Well-equipped, quiet surroundings, lots of deer in the forest, great views of Mt. Fuji.

Yume's place was amazing. We loved the hot spring bath. A few things to note, beds are quite hard, not many food options around but you can cook if you come prepared, taxis are really hard to find, even when it is a big fare! But that was my fault for not researching more. Overall a great place to stay especially if you have rented a car. Hakone was amazing :)

Anyway, it's fully equipped. Everything is sparkling clean. It is good because it has a high fence as a private space. I'll use it again.

The wooden house is very comfortable and cozy, very similar to a ski cabin hhh, the audio-visual room is very convenient to use, and it brought a lot of fun to our trip ~
