Vacation rentals with a kayak in Homosassa

Jeff’s place was great on all levels. Location, cleanliness, communication, etc. Would definitely stay again.

This place is better than the pictures! The place was super clean. It looked like the inside had been newly renovated and it was beautiful. It was bigger than we thought. Having the kayaks was a big plus! We met a few neighbors while kayaking and they were super nice which added to our overall experience. The bed upstairs (the only one we used) was super comfy as were the pillows. We were in the area for my niece’s high school graduation and plan to stay here again for any future visits! Highly recommend this place. Also, Jennifer was an amazing host and was always quick to respond. We did not need much from her as everything was self explanatory thanks to the thoughtful notes! The house was very clean. Peaceful setting and beautiful views. The host was very friendly and responded quickly.

Easy access to the River. Boat dock had plenty of room for my 26ft boat. Enjoyed having the pool and loved the layout of the house. This is a good home for a family or even if you have a few more guest with the split floor plan. The kitchen has plenty of counter space for everything,Enjoyed the stay. Thanks!

I had family in from up north and I of course wanted to be the coolest aunt, so I rented Rhonda’s place. It was absolutely perfect. It offered so much beauty just being able to paddle on the springs to see manatees and other wildlife. If you want a quaint perfect spot on the river I would highly recommend Rhonda’s place.

Loved this place. We felt at home and had everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation. Don’t forget your bug spray, but that’s just the area.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—there wasn’t a single thing we found ourselves missing. The kids had an absolute blast kayaking and swimming in the swimming hole—it was a highlight of the trip! The downstairs area was perfect for the whole family to relax, hang out, and enjoy some quality time together. Such a cozy, welcoming spot—we’d definitely love to come back!

Vicki gave us some helpful tips on how to see manatees in the area. We were within 5 minutes of a couple of great restaurants and the manatee pier. I was expecting to see some alligators, but no luck. But the house was very well maintained and well-equipped. Vicky was very responsive. I would definitely recommend her house to anyone wanting to stop and have a rest.

This was our second time renting this place and we just love it. Location is perfect, the price has been really good each time, and there's everything one needs. The house has a great lay out, with a large open living area with kitchen, dining area, and living room, and then the bedrooms are off to the sides. The large screened in area is cozy for hanging out and keeping all your things that don't need to come in the house. There are 5 single kayaks which are great and this time we needed a double kayak as well so we rented one from Easy Peasy Mobile Kayak Rental. Would definitely recommend reaching out to them if one needs additional kayaks at a fair price and they deliver and pick up. Sally is a fantastic host who has always been so responsive and we will definitely be coming back for a third time :)

Family of 5 (3 kids) and two dogs from VA. Felt the house was perfect with a great yard and cool trees. The dogs didn’t need leashed and could be at ease with pool access being safe. (My dogs can’t swim) The sheets were real cotton (this means a lot) and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bedding and pillow options. Kitchen had the basics to cook meals which was easier. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation other than food to eat. Close to everything we wanted to do. A great trail that was not a commercialized walk where we saw armadillos, manatees, an alligator, bald eagles, snakes and we could hear two owls talking. It was perfection. The swing out back was a nice peaceful touch and I really appreciated the grill. We saw crystal clear water at three sisters while kayaking as well as dolphins at sunset. We took a boat cruise to an island and found more shells I’ve seen in my life. I’d come back again and again. No hoopla where tons of people were.

An absolutely wonderful stay! Planning on coming back again next year to this same AirBnb! This host had everything we could need or use and she was very helpful. Loved our stay here.

We had a blast celebrating my fiancés birthday on the river! So many things to use for outdoor time, so close to the water! Plenty of places to sit! The Airbnb was so cool compared to outdoors!

It was so peaceful. Just what one needs with a fast paced life. Quiet but for the wildlife. so nice to sit looking out at the water with the birds with a cup of coffee in my hand.

This was one of my favorite vacations ever! Brian was a wonderful host! He gave us a walk through and was so kind and helpful. The house was just perfect. Clean, comfortable and you can't beat the location! Right next to Roger's Park and one of my favorite restaurants. Many ameneties, including kayaks, floats, chairs, corn hole and more! Clean linens, towels and everything you would ever need in a kitchen. This home is private with gorgeous views from the screened in back porch and deck. So much wildlife! We saw manatees, otters, birds and more! Close to stores and other shopping. We love this area and the relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience! We hope to come stay here again in the near future!

What a beautiful lake house just as shown. Very cozy & decor was amazing. The view is super & the sunsets are spectacular.

It was a beautiful place to stay. Perfect place to disconnect your self from everything. We love our stay!!! The cabin was just perfect for the 3 of us. Love the River and the screened porch.

This is a perfect spot for a peaceful weekend getaway and exploring in nature. A highlight of the stay was seeing all the wildlife on the Chassahowitzka River! This cabin was cozy, and felt like home. We appreciated amenities like board games, the grill and kayaks (& lifevests) which made the experience seamless. Make sure you bring your own mask and snorkel to make the most of this great spot with its very own river access!!

Beautiful Location. So peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed the dock and outdoor space. Very clean and comfortable. We only enjoyed a short weekend but will definitely stay here next visit.

This is our second time staying here, my dog, boyfriend, and I love it here! We would live here if we could, haha. Leslie is so helpful and always responds quickly. If you love being in nature, this is great! Our dog loves the fenced in backyard, walking to the park by the water, and also riding on the golf cart! They have everything you need here, and more! We took our dog out on the double kayak, and it was so nice! We saw otters and lots of nature. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but a cozy place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We will be back again, I am sure of that. Thank you Leslie and Richard!

Had a very relaxing and peaceful stay here for the night- wish we stayed longer! Enjoyed cooking out on the grill for dinner after kayaking down to the main river for the afternoon. Would stay again and recommend!

Cutest cabin ever! The cabin decor was a treat witin itself. Cabin was comfy with ample room for 2. Our host was fabulous and our dig received a warm welcome as well. She was always available, stayed in contact, friendly and very accommodating. She even went so far as to get us a grill, hotplate, and a pan for our stay. I wasn't sure about the location on the property as it faced the restaurant with the parking lot outside the door, but the eye for detail in the landscaping made it feel private. Although the restaurant gets busy, it was relatively quiet. This a must stay for a lovely getaway.

Experience was perfect and exactly what my husband and I needed to get some R&R and peace away from the busy city. Lots of great fishin off the dock. Bluegill, gar, bowfin,catfish, and a wee baby alligator. Friendly people nearby and good food and live music at the restaurant across the street. We will definitely return.

The host was amazing. Very responsive! The house was great. A little small, however, perfect for our family of 4. The access to the river is amazing! Awesome view with nature on the other side of the river, not houses. The water was crystal clear. The kayaks were in good shape and fun to use. The only downside is there is not dishwasher if you are going to stay longer, however, we did not mind washing our own dishes. We are already looking at dates to return!
