Eight miles from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, half an hour from Amish country, and a 60-minute drive from Pittsburgh, our home offers a peaceful retreat. PLEASE NOTE: the house is accessed via a rough country driveway. We drive all kinds of vehicles up the hill, but we do not advise bringing your Lamborghini To be clear, this home is regularly used for our family fellowship and is not appropriate for parties.

Feel welcomed in this quiet, clean, modern suite on the edge of Indiana borough. This dedicated Airbnb apartment is attached to my house with a separate entrance. Both beds are in the same large room much like a hotel room. It has a cork floor and a king size bed and full size futon couch/bed with a gel foam mattress cover. Simple but elegant decor. What a sweet little cabin! We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful outdoor space including the creek. We had an excellent time relaxing on the porch, splashing in the creek, and cooking meals outside. We slept well listening to the creek- one of my all time favorite sounds. Our dog especially loved all the smells and chasing sticks and tennis balls as they floated down the creek!

An art gallery hosts a variety of framed artworks displayed along the white walls. Centered are wooden display tables featuring art prints and local crafts. Round tables with black chairs offer seating. Soft lighting enhances the space, while large windows allow natural light to fill the area.

The place was really cozy and peaceful. We were in town for our son's golf tournament at Latrobe Golf and Country Club and it was an ideal location from the course. The 12 minute drive was practically a straight line through the hills. Carly recommended some great places to dine. There were deer and rabbits in the yard each day. The beds were very comfortable. We wish we would've had more time there to enjoy more of the amenities. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would definitely recommend.
