The apartment is bright and modern and located on the first floor of a building with only three apartments in total. It is fully furnished with new furniture and comfortable beds. The apartment includes a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom and is suitable for both short and longer stays. The building is quiet and also home to long-term residents, so we kindly ask guests to be considerate, especially during the evening and night hours. For bookings of 2 guests, one bedroom is opened by default. You will still have full access to the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and garden. If you would like to use both bedrooms when staying as 2 guests (e.g. father/daughter, friends, or colleagues), this can be arranged for a small additional fee.

The ceiling height is lower than in modern houses, approximately 209 cm (8 ft 6 in) between the beams and 185–190 cm (6 ft 1 in – 6 ft 3 in) below. Situated on a large property and close to Rømø's wide beaches and unique natural surroundings. Perfect for: families, couples, groups of friends, nature and beach experiences. You will live in your own house, with your own garden where the lovely moments can be enjoyed with family or friends. The house is located opposite the amazing baker, within a short walking distance to Højer Mill with a café, close to a nice ice cream shop, the grocery store and Højer Pølser. The Wadden Sea, the North Sea and the Tønder marsh are right outside the door, and definitely worth a visit.

You can park on the street close to the house for two hours free of charge between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Otherwise, there is free parking around the clock about a five-minute walk from the house

The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site.
