Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Remember sleeping bag+pillowcase, bed sheets are in the cabin. *Road fee NOK 50,- *Remember drinking water! Dishwashing water is available in the cabin *storm kitchen/portable *Outhouse

The cabin is located right on a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have panoramic views of the water and Gaustatoppen from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell Winterland. Very 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country skiing trails. The location in the middle between Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for trade and restaurants In the summertime it is possible to rent the canoe ( on sharing with my second cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- a day.

Newer apartment

I rent out my home. This is a newer apartment on the 1st floor with good standard. It has a sheltered and nice location with good sun conditions on the terrace. There is a short way to the city centre. There is also a short distance to the bus, train and grocery store. Wilderness and nice hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity for those interested in outdoor activities. Since it is my home I rent out, there will be a few items I cannot remove, but otherwise the apartment will be tidy and clean until you arrive. Rented to non-smokers.

Post Cabin

Lower your pulse to the top of the Post Cabin! Stolpehytta is 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum Municipality, just off the Høyt & Lavt Modum climbing park. Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.

Modern rural semi-detached house

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Modern semi-detached house built in 2018 with high standard, nice sheltered garden, several terraces and sunny location. There are great outdoor areas for walking, fishing, skiing, paddling, swimming and biking right next door. Rural location with 500 meters to the bus stop and about 5 km to the train. Free parking with charging option for electric car for a fee. When I'm not renting the space, I live there. Some rooms and closets will therefore not be available.

Hygge-Li

A little gem with a superb view. Great starting point for hiking, skiing, hunting and fishing. An hour driving from Oslo and only a swip from Drammen. Here you have nature at your doorstep, on all sides. If it gets too much of a good thing, it's under 20 minutes down to the Kebab in Hokksund. 100% renewable electricity from your own solar power plant. The whole cabin is newly renovated in 2018. It can be a little difficult to find the cabin in the dark. There is no heat, so it must be fired! 10 min times in the winter.

Leiligheten har egen inngang i en del av mitt hus. Den er koselige innredet med hytte stil. Det er en privat terasse oppe og delt hage/uteområde nede. Stedet har turmuligheter rett utenfor døren og kun 15 minutter til både fjell og by, bademuligheter om sommeren og ski om vinteren.
