Compact and well designed place to stay above a terraced garden, with views across to the downs. Plenty of wildlife and birds. I heard foxes and owls and saw bats catching moths at twilight.

The bungalow was a delight from start to finish! As soon as we arrived, we noted the lovely, quiet residential area and the neatness of the bungalow’s exterior. There was no problem getting inside, as the host’s instructions were very clear. As soon as we stepped inside, we both immediately felt at home. The interior was lovely - spacious, well organised, comfortable, absolutely spotless and it smelled so clean and fresh! The view of the spacious garden through the French windows in the dining room was ideal and as the weather was so beautiful during our stay, we took the opportunity to sit outside in the evening. Everything we needed during our stay was there for us (to my delight, there was a hairdryer and I had forgotten to bring mine!). Michelle, co-host, was a superb communicator, providing quick responses to my queries. Milk and other food items were available, which was a lovely touch. Priscilla’s bungalow was a wonderful ‘home from home’ for us. A perfect place to stay!

Stayed a month and felt right at home. You’ve got Sainsbury’s, the bus, and a cracking pub just down the road, tick, tick, tick. The bed? Like sleeping on a cloud. The shower might be small, but it delivers hot water and great power. As a woman travelling solo, I felt totally safe, that lovely mix of knowing someone’s nearby if needed, but also having my own peaceful space. The farm setting is gorgeous, you feel part of something special, while still having your own little haven. I’d come back in a heartbeat!
