Beautiful annex in peaceful village. Suzannah left us fresh juice and breakfast pots which were yum! Enjoyed use of the bath whilst there too. Thank you very much for our stay.

Chateau 9Neuf

This place was amazing ! Exceptionally beautiful interior design. It’s stunning as soon as you step though the front door , such a romantic feel about the whole place.Very luxurious & made our weekend away for a wedding extra special. Lucretia was a fabulous host & always responded very quickly & positively. This place is definitely a hidden secret & with Newark castle directly over the road , with the river behind it & set in beautiful grounds. Really excellent pubs , restaurants bistros & cafes on the doorstep , nice shopping everywhere, I can’t recommend Lucretia or her beautiful place enough & I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there or recommend it to anyone.

The Snug

AlastairRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Gorgeous little place, walkable to the centre of Southwell. Everything was in great condition and really comfortable. Stairs to the top floor would be treacherous for smaller children, but our 8 and 10 years olds loved the excitement of being in the attic! Lots of lovely, welcoming touches - milk and fresh bread, nespresso pods. Perfect for a few days exploring this great town.
A decorative table is featured with a metal wire fruit bowl and a grey sign labeling 'The Oasthouse.' A heart-shaped candle holder is positioned next to the bowl, adding a cozy touch. Soft natural light illuminates the scene, suggesting a welcoming atmosphere.

Little Barn , Nr Showground /A1

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a great weekend at the Little Barn. Charlotte is a very welcoming host, very helpful but not at all intrusive. Lots of good ideas on where we could try. The welcome pack was very comprehensive, and the eggs from her chickens were very tasty. The garden is very dog friendly, even our tiny poodle couldn’t escape through any gaps. We were visiting the Newark Showground and the location couldn’t have been better, 5 minutes and we were there!

Barnaby’s Cottage

Fabulous property, fantastically quirky and really lovely hosts. Very cosy feel, plenty of hot water, heating available when you need it, lovely enclosed back garden to sit out or for last tiddles at night for your furry friends. Good internet if you need it, felt very safe, tucked away with parking for 2 large vehicles. Our dog felt very welcome and the dogs on site are super friendly. Thoughtful extras such as bread, milk, breakfast pastries, butter. Towels and bed linen were changed over for us mid stay which was really nice. Would highly recommend, we did consuder staying permanently!

Pretty & welcoming cottage in Averham Park

Kye Rating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our stay at Jayne and Haydns’ felt like a stay with extended family or friends. They were both extremely welcoming, friendly and responsive to anything communicated. The home is in beautiful surroundings and in a historic estate. Our doggies were made to feel welcome and loved the space to run in. There was a thoughtful welcome basket too. Also excellent location to Lincoln, Nottingham and surrounding towns and villages.
