The author and artist Gunnar Brusewitz lived here and studied Tåkern and its nature in the spring of 1940. The house works all year around and in the main house you have two bedrooms with 6 beds. Close to the main house is a small guesthouse with 2 beds and winter heating. There is also a sauna and a rowing boat that you as a guest can use. In the winter you can go cross-country skiing (nearby) or if you want to go downhill (25min away).
