Chalet vacation rentals in Hinterstoder

The three of us (one adult and two teenagers) spent a wonderfully relaxing week here. Christoph is a great and uncomplicated host who responds very promptly to questions. The cottage itself is exactly as described. The journey is via a narrow path (on which two riders met us upon our arrival, which led to a not so easy "reverse driving action"). Behind the house, a stream splashes, but you can't hear it with the windows closed (although I'm quite sensitive to noise), in front of the house, a hiking trail passes by that we used for two tours ("Hochebene Maria Elend - Kapelleralm Runde von Embach" and "Spektakulärer Skywalk - Taxenbach-Wasserfall Runde von Taxenbach" ... just check Komoot). The mountain golf course (clubs and balls are available in the information office in the village) is also fun. Culinary, the pizzeria Langreiter is highly recommended. The only sticking point: the bunk bed for people > 1.90 m.

Beautiful cabin you get a magical feeling as soon as you arrive. The cooper and wood decor is fantastic. The tunnel fire in the living room and bedroom is brilliant. Beautiful scenery and lots of fantastic walks from the cabin. The Sauna was perfect after a day of hiking. Amazing cabin and location would highly recommend we had the best holiday.

We chose Bernhard's house for a meeting of three families with children from different places. We couldn't have chosen better. Bernhard's property absolutely suited us with its size, location, and amenities, thanks to which we spent valuable time with friends. The property completely matched the description and nothing from the description was missing. Moreover, Bernhard communicated very proactively and promptly answered any questions we had. There are many hiking trails of various difficulties in the area. It is definitely a place we would like to return to. Certainly, they will return to the area in winter for great skiing.

We really enjoyed the few days here! Above all, the quiet location and the diverse possibilities in the area made this stay an unforgettable experience. Not to forget, of course, the beautiful cottage, where you can find everything you need for a short break!

We had the most amazing stay in this chalet. It was very clean and well equipped for a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The scenery is beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. The family are very friendly and we loved the sheep surrounding the property fence, they were so fun to watch. Great choice for bigger groups

Very nice cottage with everything you could ever need. We had a lovely time and can recommend the cottage especially in the off-ski season. :) Especially the cleanliness was outstanding!

The chalet is ideal for small families – very quiet and pleasant. The place was in perfect condition and very clean. Karl, the owner, is extremely nice and is immediately available for any questions or concerns. Kerstin and Jochen at the reception also welcomed us warmly and gave us great tips for our activities. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this property!

Premium Chalet with Premium equipment, super-clean and having all amenities as descri ed.

The stay was great. Check-in was very easy and check-out was too. Have a few small complaints, Jacuzzi didn't work on the 1st day. There were no grill tongs available and there were no dishwasher tabs. So you often had to go back to a store for small things. However, if we had any questions, we were helped very quickly and the lady was very nice and helpful. Problems with the Jacuzzi were fixed the very next morning. We highly recommend the stay... There are beautiful walks and nature is breathtaking.

Our group had a lovely time, perfect getaway ski trip. The house is as advertised, very clean, great views and is in pristine condition overall. The hosts were very nice and helpful throughout our stay whenever we needed to reach out to them. There's plenty of slopes near by to choose from, one within walking distance but a car is recommended to have around even tho there are ski busses. Some shops and restaurants are nearby incl ski rentals. Overall a great experience in a lovely location with great hosts. We'll probably try to come back in the future as an even bigger group.

The chalet was very nice, clean and well furnished. The beds are very comfortable.  In particular, the terrace with meadow and fenced property was optimal for us and our dogs. The playground and the various animals are great fun for our little one. We were able to choose breakfast according to our wishes and was very rich. Only the price for only 2 adults and an infant was very high. All in all but a top recommendation!

We were 12 girls in this accommodation and couldn't have done better! The host was super friendly, the communication in advance and during the stay was great – we got a lot of helpful tips and information. The house itself is an absolute dream: very clean, incredibly charming and perfectly equipped – even towels, bathrobes and all the important things like toilet paper were available. The location in the middle of the mountains is simply breathtaking, with a view that you will never forget. Ideal for large groups – there was enough room for everyone without stepping on each other's toes. The staff on site was also super nice and supported us at all times. We fully recommend the place and would come back anytime!

The accommodation was really great. Super kid friendly and great location. There is another house between the house and the lake, but there is still direct access to the lake. It's also really great and great cooling in the summer. The owners are always available and available in the restaurant next door (this is also highly recommended!).

Fantastic mountain house with a beautiful view. Completely private, the entire hillside belongs to the house. The house is equipped with everything, the kitchen was well equipped, and there is also a washing machine, a dishwasher and a sauna. Communication with the owner was easy, we received all information in advance! Dog-friendly place with great hiking opportunities in the area! I can absolutely recommend it, we will definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this chalet. We were really surprised by how spacious it was, and we especially appreciated the variety of spaces where everyone could find their space. Everything was clean, the beds were super comfortable and we could not get enough of the view.

The cottage was easily accessible. Check-in and check-out are very straightforward. Unfortunately we had very bad weather, but when we entered the house it was nice and warm and very comfortable. That is why we enjoyed staying indoors and enjoyed our time there. Each room had its own bathroom with toilet, which is really great. Overall, we had a great stay. Absolutely recommended.

As amazing as the pictures are, this house and its surroundings were even more stunning than the photos! The house is a restored farmhouse on a hilltop at the end of a forest road. It’s completely private and absolutely quiet. There’s a pond for swimming and a hot tub on the deck. The whole place is surrounded by lawn. The trees, flowers, and birds are incredible. Inside, the house is beautiful and very comfortable. The host, Martina, was very helpful and responsive. There is a delightful town on the Ybbs River about 10 minutes away by car—the best ice cream shop anywhere, an ancient fortress, great cafes, wonderful walking paths. This Airbnb was superb.

We were there for the AirPower event. Unfortunately a little longer away by car, but ideal for overnight and sleeping. Everything is available, some things could be modernized, but that doesn't detract from the feel-good factor.

We were lucky enough to take a week of winter vacation in Charlet Kreuzkogel. Already when we entered the house, we all felt very comfortable. The sauna of the fireplace and the quiet just outside location, made our stay perfect. Everything is within walking distance and was just ideally located for us with two dogs. We will be happy to come back next year.
