We had a very peaceful weekend. The patio area in the garden was lovely just to sit and look across the fields. The cottage was immaculate and very spacious rooms. Stuart the host was such a kind person and couldn't do enough for us making sure we had everything we needed. We will be returning in the near future.

Frosthwaite farm The stables

ClaraRating, 5 stars3 days ago
A gem of a place with lots to do around within walking distance and by car. Never ending walks in the stunning countryside and a spacious but cozy and comfortable place, larger than it looks in photos. We were never disturbed by the stables but got to enjoy seeing the friendly horses. Helen's guidebook was spot on and helped us prioritise what sights to see and was clearly happy to help with anything one could need while at her place. Could not recommend enough!

The Barn at Blease

JennyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay at The Barn! Joanna was a fantastic host – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She greeted us on arrival, showed us around, and gave great local recommendations. She was also really responsive to messages and flexible when we asked about early check-in and late check-out, which made everything so much easier. The Barn itself is even more beautiful than the photos – cosy, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches like bathroom minis, a great selection of books, and fresh apple juice in the mornings. The welcome manual was clear and helpful, although we didn’t need to refer to it much thanks to Joanna’s warm welcome and explanations. The location is perfect for exploring the Lakes, and the peaceful surroundings made for a great night’s sleep. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend staying here – and we’re already hoping to return. Thank you so much Joanna for such a lovely stay!

Bedsit Kendal Town Centre

It’s a GREAT place to stay, I’ll definitely come again! The accommodation itself is good. It’s clean and tidy, with a decent place to work, quiet and friendly neighbour, and all the facilities I need. The hosts are so nice and friendly! The location is convenient as well, it’s not too far from the railway station, Iceland supermarket, library and the Kendal castle, and it only takes about 40 min to get to windermere.
A dedicated electric vehicle charger is mounted on a stone wall, featuring a digital display with icons for charging status. The charging cable hangs neatly on the side, providing convenient access for guests looking to charge their vehicles.

Tracy and hubby were very friendly nothing was a problem, we enjoyed their company over the weekend we were there. Beautiful place and spotless, had everything you would need. The bed and pillows were so comfortable it was hard to get out of bed. The bus is once an hour outside the pub, which is ideal to visit the lakes or Lancaster. Lovely village pub 'Smithy Inn' next door serves lovely food and large potions. Will definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back. Thank you Linda & Stephn from Newcastle

St Sundays Cottage

NicholaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
St Sundays cottage is a beautiful, well appointed cottage, located close to local amenities in the heart of the Lake District. The views, especially a stream running through the back garden were stunning, Michelle was extremely attentive to our needs and leaving milk, bread, eggs and biscuits was a lovely touch; would definitely recommend even though sadly for us it rained almost constantly while we were there (June!) we can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the sunshine! Overall an amazing place and would definitely recommend!
