Vacation rentals with a patio in Hilo

The stay with Robynne was amazing! It's rare to find such a great host and such an incredibly cosy and super clean Airbnb. We would have loved to stay longer. We couldn't have imagined a better stay. It felt like home. We also got to meet the two huskies and they were super cute. All in all: 10 out of 10!! Mahalo Robynne and thank you for your hospitality!

Epic apartment right in downtown Pahoa. Amazing communication with the hosts who were very flexible and accommodating. Will definitely stay again.

It was a perfect location for our Merrie Monarch trip! The place was clean and kitchen was well equipped. The complex was safe with security elevator and security personnel on site. Communication was spot on with check in instructions, quick responses, etc. thank you for a great experience. Mahalo nui

This cozy cute apartment with a fun balcony sitting area is in a great location. Christopher sent us some great restaurant and activity recommendations. It is close to down town and numerous parks and beaches. My husband enjoyed running in the estuary park next to the condo. The little pond with ducks running through the place was so cute. The apartment is on the third floor and little ways from the parking lot. We had a great stay and fun first time visiting Hilo.

I love the Airbnb, have everything you need for you to feel your in home. The parking lot is so dark at night there is not light but after that everything is perfect.

Michelle and Joe are wonderful, kind hosts. The place is great - it’s big, clean, and well stocked. The lanai is amazing, as is the pool! It’s easy to walk to the coast, and in driving distance to Hilo and many waterfalls and hikes in the area. Michelle and Joe kindly gave us a tour around the property, showed us the gorgeous fruits as well as all the work they’ve done to improve the property. We even got to try different coconuts from their trees! We had a great time at Michelle and Joe’s place and will definitely book again when we return to the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Really quaint little place, exactly as described. Richard was a great host and provided everything we needed. It is slightly off the main road and down a gravel lane but the instructions were very clear and precise. We would come back.

Amazing location and great hosts! Had a great time at Kathy's place - perfect spot to explore the east side of the island. It's close to downtown Hilo, and both Volcano National park and Mauna Kea are a little over 30 minutes away. Would definitely consider again. One word of caution, sensitive sleepers should bring earplugs - the house is in a residential area with plenty of wild chickens. They can get loud in the morning.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place felt like home in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. It was so perfect for our needs. 2 hours to South Point area/Green Sand beach. Less than an hour to Volcano National Park. Half hour to Pahoa beaches and geothermal ponds. Super clean, well stocked with amenities, very responsive hosts. I would absolutely stay here again.

Lynne was super responsive and accommodating during our stay! The place itself is tucked away and cute, had everything we needed. It was a bit hot since there is no A/C but there are many fans to use. Appreciated how tranquil and quiet the area was!

Being from Kona, this was the perfect place to spend time with my friend from Australia that I hadn’t seen in decades! It’s private, clean, well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, has great lighting, and conversation spaces. The home has wonderful retro appointments & beautiful tropical artwork. We especially enjoyed the nice stroll to the park area overlooking the ocean. Mahalo, Cyrus!

I wish I had more time to stay to enjoy the beauty of this place. The house was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Kids enjoyed a fruit garden and had a comfortable sleep. We got to meet the host, and they were very friendly. I would definitely stay again on the next trip.

Perfect place for our family of six spanning three generations. Great spot to explore the south and east side of the island. Volcano Nat Park was close by and Hilo definitely is a foodie paradise! More rain equals more vegetation and beautiful flora and fauna. Brian’s place manages to incorporate the amenities of modern luxury living with the surrounding natural wonders seamlessly.

Home just as pictured and described. A/C was such a relief with the tropical climate. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The master bedroom restroom had a very cool imitation of volcanic rock for the floor. Only *minor* issue would be the entrance to the driveway is a little on the steep side. we bottomed out our car on 2 occasions but as long as you take a really sharp approach angle when leaving, you'll be perfectly fine; or an suv/truck would have no issues at all. Overall, great stay and worth every dollar!

We stayed at Lumin’s place for a night near Volcanoes National Park, and it was an absolute gem. Surrounded by lush, beautiful plants, the home felt like a peaceful retreat. We arrived in the rain and left with sunshine—it was magical. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. We picked up some fresh fruit from the Hilo Farmers Market and enjoyed a cozy, rainy evening with good food in this lovely setting. Highly recommended!

Hands down Jennifer is a super host. This is probably the nicest Airbnb space we’ve ever stayed in. She is very honest and the property even exceeds the description. Thanks for sharing your beautiful, restful home.

Genes place was very clean,and comfortable. lots of space and nice kitchen area. ceiling fan is a life saver as it can get warm but everything worked great and the the view from the balcony is nice over looking the pool with all the greenery. Mahalo to Gene and O'hana!

This place was fabulous. Everything I had hoped it would be and more. The cove right at the condo was amazing. We walked out at night and got see the turtles. My favorite place so far. The host was awesome too. Hope we get to come back here someday.

Maggie was very responsive and helpful. She had great recommendations and was flexible when I needed to add a night to my trip. The room has a great location and the balcony was amazing. It was very clean the bed was comfy and the fan combined with the AC kept it very cool. The pool was really big and had fresh water which makes a big difference. Overall a great experience A+ Mahalo Maggie!

I really appreciated this responsive host, studio is perfectly minimal with the perfect touch of the island that matches the nature surrounding — yes there are natural noises from birds and frogs, this is a tropical island and there’s water surrounding the complex! We loved watching the baby ducklings. I have to give extra props for the natural bedding— it was perfectly chosen for the climate and I appreciated that there were cotton/bamboo as it’s a pet peeve of mine to sleep on polyester. There were three fans in the studio so we stayed comfortable all day, however if you’re a super light sleeper or need full blast a/c to rest, this spot is not for you. All around this spot is a wonderful deal in the middle of Hilo- there are friendly locals, chickens, and feral cats— you’ll find this all over big island. Plenty close to downtown, good eats, and all the special beaches Hilo has to offer.

I had such a lovely stay. The place was exactly as described and it was perfect for my brief stay in Hilo. The location is fantastic and the space was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use the pool but it looked great.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. L'appartement est idéalement situé. Les instructions sont très clairs. Vous trouverez tout le nécessaire, voir plus, à votre disposition dans le logement. Seul bémol : le canapé lit n'est pas un vrai lit et il est difficile d'y accueillir 2 personnes pour dormir, je recommande de venir à 5 maximum. Merci à James pour l'amabilité et la réactivité !

I wish we could've stayed longer! What a wonderful place to relax! Sitting on the patio or in the pool, and listening to the waves on the shoreline, was amazing! Sonja and Alex were so friendly and helpful - it felt like staying with family. They thought of everything to make the accommodations perfect! We will definitely be back!
