Sunset Suzys Tropical Retreat is located perfectly 15 minutes outside of Hilo town in a beautiful neighborhood called Hawaiian Paradise park.. It is located on a beautiful one acre lot, filled with fruit trees, green grass, green geckos, and tropical birds. Surrounded by orchids and other tropical flowers, the cottage is located on two lovely landscaped acres - 30 minutes from Hilo or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The property is solar powered, an off-grid sustainable system with 4G phone service and fiber optic wifi. The last two miles are on unpaved gravel road in variable condition depending upon how much rain we've had lately. Four wheel drive isn't necessary but an SUV or similar vehicle with higher clearance is recommended.

A spacious studio layout showcases a queen size bed with a patterned coverlet, situated beside a comfortable sectional sofa. You’ll love the coziness, privacy, high ceilings, loft, full kitchen, wood burning stove, and two-person tub. This house was built by my grandfather 30 years ago, and has retained the charm and warmth that he crafted into this cozy cottage.

Volcano Hidden Cottage is centralized location making exploring the East side of the Big Island easy. Very private, Full of Romance, Kitchen, fireplace, and lots of window overlooking rain forest.
