Vacation rentals with breakfast in Highland Council

Dawn‘s small cottage in the middle of Inverness is indeed a hidden gem. Just around the corner of the supermarket and many delicious restaurants. And very quiet. Very clean, cosy and decorated very lovely. Thank you very much for being such an excellent and thoughtful host. We‘d love to come back some day.

The house in Corpach is a lovely place: spacious, nicely furnished, and with a very well eqipped kitchen. It's in a quiet location but it's very easy to get from there to Fort William and on into Glen Nevis (or to just take a stroll down by the coast or the canal). Frazer is a very fine host: welcoming and good at communications.

We love staying in Airbnbs with a bit of interest / history so the Presbytery was right up our alley. Andrea was very accommodating and the space had everything we needed as a family of three. Right in the heart of Foress, and close to other towns of interest like Elgin, Brodie, etc.

What a fantastic place. The most amazing location with spectacular views and a great house. We quickly got into the habit of sauna, followed by a swim in the loch (what a treat that is), followed with a jacuzzi as our end of day routine. It really is a very lovely place. We hope to be back!!!

Our stay in Anne's house was perfect from every point of view. The apartment is lovely and equipped with every comforts. Anne was a fantastic host, she provided us a lot of information about the facilities around the house, the rules of the apartment and the check-in and check-out. I fully recommended staying at Anne's house.

This b&b is a rare find - Gunta is an expert host who goes out of her way to make one’s stay faultless. The rooms are crisp and clean. The sitting room is a comfortable haven. And then there’s the food - fantastic - the lamb shanks and absolute highlight. Breakfast was also delish (note that breakfast and dinner are additional costs to the room tariff). As cyclists we found this a real haven. It is excellent value for money and well worthy of its 5 star rating.

Helen was a perfect host. The “bothy” was spacious and well stocked, and Helen made everything extremely easy. The only think I would note would be about the hot tub. While it was wonderful and well stocked really enjoyed it, I wish I had known that it would take so long to prepare to use it before I had booked my stay, so that I had known I would have to plan my days around it if I wanted to use it. Thank you Helen for the amazing time!

Great location to serve as a hub to travel throughout the day, then return in the evening hours to loads of restaurants with great live music (Highlander) and story telling (sèomar). Breakfast was perfect at Rendezvous.

Kathryn was extremely welcoming and helpful. The place is amazing all the fixtures were of the highest quality. Very homely and warm, we couldn’t fault anything. Would highly recommend.

This little flat was a great find for a weekend stay in Inverness, great location, 10 minute walk from city centre. The flat was pristine with lots of fabulous little extras left by the host. Fab communication from Kasia. We will be back, thank you ☺️

The Apartment in Highland Council was very nice and clean! There were also plenty of towels! The highlight was the beautiful, modern bathroom with the wonderful shower with a full enclosure door and a niche to place your shampoos, etc. Believe us when we say this is a plus in the UK! The water pressure and the hot water was also a plus. Again, this is not always the case in the UK! The apartment was quiet even though it is situated right by a road. The parking is by its back door/patio entrance which is by the market parking lot. We entered and exited from this door during our stay, and used the market parking near the back gate. The kitchen is adorable and functional, but it’s small. It has a very small refrigerator, so small amounts of groceries are best to buy if you’re cooking in. There were some staples available for use, a coffee maker and a kettle. The washer dryer was definitely a plus!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Glyn and Lynda. The space is exactly as described, but words cant express how beautiful the surroundings are. Everywhere you look there is another amazing view! Glyn’s breakfast feasts were indulgent, delicious, and the perfect start to a day of exploring the island. Glyn and Lynda both had excellent recommendations for navigating the island, restaurants, and off the beaten path recommendations. We even got to meet their sheep and feed them a snack. Thank you to Glyn, Lynda, and sweet Connie for making our time on Skye so magical and for the lovely company and conversation. We hope to return to the Island again and will definitely be staying with Glyn and Lynda if we do.

Susan and Michael were wonderful hosts. The room was very clean, and their home, including the garden, offered a lovely retreat. My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable in their accommodation. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the cat who greeted us every morning. Michael also gave us many tips for the rest of our trip, which we included in our itinerary and thanks to that, we discovered many more beautiful places.

Vivki et John sont des hôtes absolument charmants qu'il fait plaisir de côtoyer et que dire de leur maison? Un vrai havre de paix où il fait bon vivre, le tout aménagé et décoré pour se sentir dans un véritable cocon! Notre seul regret aura été de n'y passer qu'une seule nuit! Un endroit et des hôtes que nous recommandons chaudement, vous ne le regretterez pas!

Lorna est l’hôte parfaite. Son logement est accueillant, chaleureux. Les chambres sont grandes, les salles de bain très jolies, spacieuses et bien équipées. Le chauffe serviette est bien agréable après une journée humide. Lorna cuisine de délicieux petits déjeuners. Nous y sommes restées 2 nuits et c’était notre meilleur hébergement et notre meilleur accueil. Je recommande vraiment ce logement. C’est un havre de paix. Nous n’oublierons pas Lorna, ni son discret, mais adorable mari.

We loved our stay here, the view from the living room is amazing and we loved the breakfast’s every morning! The bedroom was very small but they allow you to use the living area too so not too bad. We also loved the two dogs! Perfect location for visiting the Isle of Skye - would stay here again if we were up.

We needed a place to say in southern Skye, on a whistle stop trip around the highlands. Fiona's accommodation far exceeded our expectations, and it's a shame we couldn't stay longer. We were given excellent instructions to find the location, in stunning coastal scenery, and Fiona couldn't have been more helpful, recommending a local (not walkable) restaurant, and a walk up to the phone mast to make the most of the views. Spotless bedroom and bathroom, and a very welcome selection of crisps and biscuits! We would also recommend taking a trip along the unclassified coast road which snakes past a couple of beautiful coves along the north coast of Sleat and gives superb views of sunset over the Cuillin. Thank you Fiona!

Ruth was wonderful! She set an excellent breakfast spread in the morning! The rooms were very roomy and comfy! She gave us idea's on some points of iterest that where wonderful. We where very thankful for her knowledge of the area. We would definitely stay at Ruth's again!
