Spacious two bedroom self-catering apartment

Frances And StephenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We spent a great week at this comfortable apartment. The kitchen is very well equipped with good quality pots & pans and very sharp knives. There was a plentiful supply of wood for the wood burner which we appreciated at the end of the day. The beds were very comfortable. The apartment is bigger than the pictures suggest! There are several eating possibilities within walking distance and beautiful walks from the doorstep. All in all an excellent AirBnB that I would recommend if you are staying in this area of the Peak District.

Peak District’s High Peak Hideaways - Windgather

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely relaxing stay here for our wedding anniversary. The pod was very well equipped and comfortable although we spent most of our time outside on the deck and in the hot tub as the weather was so good! We are keen walkers and there were plenty of decent hikes in the area and some good pubs for food & drink afterwards.

Wonderful cottage in an amazing location. Liz was a great host, the place was spotless and there's loads to do in the area. Super easy to reach by train. We loved it and would stay again. Definitely one of the best Airbnbs we have found.

Pott Bridge Cottage

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a beautiful wild little place - perfect for a short romantic break for two. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, with epic and historically rich walks all around. We were particularly taken with Sam the dog who gamely provided entertainment for my two young nephews. For hours. We adore him for his efforts and salute him for his service. We also enjoyed breakfast with the chickens. The good? Location is amazing. Co-op within 5 mins walk, and amazing treks all around. Bridget the owner is very kind and helpful. All the animals add something special. The place is well equipped and there is plenty of space to park. Any room for improvement? The WiFi could be better but actually pls leave it - we had proper conversations for the first time in ages! There isn’t a freezer which would’ve been a problem for a longer trip. Perhaps a goat would help you fight back the glorious nature that’s growing all around? But I think maybe that’s simply because I like goats 😂
