The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Our luxury Shepherd hut is nestled in its own private walled garden. Once belonged to the Swythamley Hall estate, where they grew fruit and vegetables for the people of the beautiful, impressive hall. Sit back, unwind in your very own garden which is approximately 1 arce! Be surrounded by a private wall, woodland and nature. Sit with a glass of wine or a cooled beer and take in the breath taking views of the rolling fields, trees, animals and the roaches. Why not take a dip in our natural lake!

What used to be a working farm has now been turned into its own little holiday village. Enjoy the home comforts of a ground floor, one bed cottage, which consists of a kitchen, dining & living area. The bed can be made into either king or a twin with a set bunk beds. En-suite bathroom. Within 10 minute walk of the popular Carsington Water. Set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside in the village of Parkhead, between South Wingfield and Crich The property is an ideal base for walking, writing, climbing, cycling, exploring and relaxing. Lots of local walks Close to Crich Tranway and an ideal base for Chatsworth and Haddon The property is very rural with outstanding views across to South Wingfield Outside there is the use of an above ground pool during the summer and seating areas (closed Sept - mid May)

The one-bedroom apartment is located in a self-contained wing of a listed farmhouse. Oak beams, flag floors, with every modern convenience. The en-suite bedroom can sleep up to 2 (plus a cot) and 1 pet; the apartment has a fully equipped, fitted, modern kitchen/dining/living area and a patio with car parking space. A swimming pool with sauna is available to book at extra charge. We can not guarantee availability of pool slots less than 2 weeks before the booking.
