PLEASE NOTE WE ARE CURRENTLY HAVING BUILDING WORK AT THE BACK OF THE HOUSE. I have reduced the price to reflect this. This is a small self contained one bedroom ground floor apartment with its own entrance, compact double bedroom with en suite shower room and cosy lounge with sofa bed and kitchenette. The sofa makes a large single/small double bed. The apartment will sleep four but is perfect for two. Well behaved animals may stay too; please include them on your booking.

Excellent place ideal for what we needed, David was excellent and responded immediately to the two queries we had and solved them (we accidentally set off the alarm and had to ask about hot water). Info in the house only needs to add the nearest shop (2 minutes to Spa) and the excellent Jolly Sailor pub/restaurant (10 minutes walk).

Beautiful accommodation, excellent for our family celebration. The surrounding area is lovely. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sun setting in the evening. Darren was very accommodating which added to the overall experience making it a wonderful weekend!

Overall, me and my friend had the best stay and would recommend Paula a thousand times over.

We had a lovely few days here. Beautiful area and the accommodation was lovely. Very clean with lots of tea, coffee, ceareals and even milk in the fridge for us. I have looked for accommodation in Marple Bridge previously as I have relatives living within 10 to 15 minutes away but never had any luck. This is the first time I tried Airbnb and got lucky. I will certainly be looking to stay here for future visits. Also any advance queries I had were responded to very quickly. Hanna was very helpful.

Wicket Green Cottage was an excellent find - beautiful location in a lovely village near Kinder Scout, perfect for walking and exploring the peaks. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped and with a lovely view across the river and cricket field to the hills beyond. Hayfield is a charming village with excellent independent shops, bars and pubs, plus access to the Calico trail walk Ant was a great host, really responsive and helpful.
