The recently converted Nissen Barn is located on a farm in its own private meadow. The barn is surrounded by the beautiful Essex countryside - rolling hills, ancient trees, wildflowers and grasses, hedgerows, horses and sheep. The conversion was completed in March 2021 and sleeps 4 adults in 2 big bedrooms. There is also a loft bedroom accessed by a hidden door with a king size mattress suitable for older children or couple. Perfect for families, but note there is no enclosed garden.

This was a beautiful modern property. The host was very responsive and was quick to reply to any questions we had. The property is well designed to be easy to access to visitors and has a very homely feel.

We found Hayleys place to be quite compact but very comfortable! Having a dedicated parking space was a real bonus & although there we're a number of things missing from the listing when we arrived, Josh was really quick to respond to our message & bring the missing items to us. We will be booking to stay again in late October!

The loveliest little gem of a place! We had the best time here, the bed was one of the best that we’ve had - both slept so well. Looks small in the pictures but really doesn’t feel like it. The village is lovely, lots of shops and restaurants. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Before booking I read so much outstanding feedback for Maria that I knew it would be amazing. And I wasn’t disappointed. So much attention to detail and beautifully decorated and also lots of lovely little (luxury) extras like coffee/tea, dishwasher, breakfast items….she even decorated the room for our anniversary. The only downside was that now we have been, other BnB’s just wont compare!

Evi was a wonderful host who answered all our questions promptly. The property is gorgeous and surrounded by stunning gardens. We enjoyed watching the wild rabbits in the evening. It was a perfect size for us with our 1 year old daughter and only 5 minutes drive from the airport. A perfect nights stay, thank you ☺️
