Ann is a great host, very responsive to any ?’s and even checked in to see how the first night went. Fire pit was perfect and the pond had a couple good sized fish in it that We could see from the edge of the pond even though the water was a bit murky/pond like. Location is Super accessible to all of Hocking Hills trails and sites!

We had a great stay. Close to trails. Found a lot to do in Lancaster.

Place was wonderful! Caught lots of small fish without leaving our cabin! Clean, friendly. This was our 2nd time staying at their cabins. Would definitely recommend!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We felt right at home immediately and the interior and exterior was warm, inviting, and peaceful. The interior decoration brought the outside nature in, and the surrounding land was breathtaking. The private trails were perhaps our favorite of the entire area and the hot tub and fire pit were divine! We can wait to return to this property again.

Amazing place! We enjoyed the hot tub and movie room in the basement. It is close to Logan, so we can access restaurants easily. We will visit again soon! Thanks Kevin!

it is a cute little cottage and we had an amazing time!! my only complaints are the difficult to maneuver stairs necessary to get up or down to use the restroom and getting in and out of the hot tub we found extremely hard. we were a party of ladies aged 40, 50, and 60+ so for those without bad knees, backs, or hips the stairs wouldn't be an issue. thank you for the hospitality Lisa

Booked a 3 day stay here and the environment was amazing. Very peaceful and quiet as well as relaxing.

The cottage was just as described. A wonderful hocking hills weekend. Within 15 minutes of parks. The cottage is quiet and private. 10/10

We book a place last minute on Memorial weekend due to my parents lakehouse having additional guests requesting to stay over. Paula's place was clean and in a great location. A+ communication with us leading up to and during the stay. Highly recommend if looking for a place to stay at Buckeye Lake!

Was visiting hocking hills state park. it was about a 30 -40 drive to most of the site. So was not bad drive. and joyed the view. It was so quite and peaceful. It was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the birds! hardly anyone drove by! The house was nice with plenty of space to move around. The first floor room would be very accessible for anyone! The start upstairs where very steep.

Anchors Away was even nicer than expected. Our group of older women had everything we needed, and the home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed gathering in the kitchen, living room and patio. Hosts were so flexible and responsive to our requests!

A relaxing place with Idyll brand candles, soap, etc. So fun and smelled lovely. Well stocked kitchen with a high-end espresso machine. It's always so great to come back from a hike and have a nice soak in the hot tub. Couldn't ask for a better location to world class hiking and interesting breweries. We were lucky to be there during the Washboard Festival in Logan and caught some very talented bands. We also enjoyed listening to the eclectic record collection on the Victrola. It seemed like we were in a tree house because of all the windows with the views of the forest. Thanks for all the detailed instructions to the home and to the area. I almost forgot how much I loved the books tucked into the shelves.

I loved it!! It’s so peaceful and quiet, the location was perfect for a getaway, my only complaint would be that the hot tub didn’t work during our stay but other then that everything else was perfect. Very clean, nice and cozy. The hosts were extremely friendly and we loved the little “adventure” book they had on the counter. Highly recommend a stay at this cabin!!

I absolutely plan on coming back to Sugar Maple cottage in the future. I would recommend for a Girls, Couples, or Family get away. The property is amazing and the cottage felt like home (but nicer LOL). LOVED the hot tub and fireplace after a day of hiking the property. So much to do we probably could have spent a week just exploring, never leaving the property.

We had a great weekend hiking at Hocking Hills and had a very comfortable stay at the cottage. Joseph was very helpful! We will most definitely book again when in the area!

A beautiful and peaceful property We saw a lot of wildlife while we stayed here - wild birds, deer in various states, turkey etc. There’s a lot of space around the cabin to roam and explore - my dog and I enjoyed both trails in the woods and sniffing in the upper fields. The cabin is simple but well stocked with things you need and very clean and comfortable - the beds are very comfortable. I loved having a big table to work on a jigsaw puzzle and of course that pond with fountain to sit by and sip coffee or wine - just perfect. Newark is an easy 15min or so drive for restaurants and the earthworks attractions. This is a great couples or family escape spot. I would stay here again

The peace and serenity of this cabin is second to none. The sound of the moving river waters and nature soothes our souls. Kathryn has always been the best and most attentive host. We appreciate her so much. We frequent the cabin 2-3 times a year and look forward to each and every stay. 💕

Jeff’s home is a beautiful gem at Burr Oak. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had such a great time and are very grateful for the opportunity to stay at such a lovely home.

Cozy and cute! Quiet area. Perfect for our weekend trip to hocking hills with the kids. Really don’t have anything bad to say except Tvs in the bedrooms would’ve been helpful to occupy the kids but we survived!! Got them outdoors on the beautiful weekend we had. Would definitely start again

Steven’s place was wonderful! It was the perfect little getaway for my husband’s birthday!

This was without a doubt, a peaceful stay at a spacious home and property. The house has so much room to stretch out, and there’s tons of lawn outside to walk. There’s a patio with seating, outback, and a deck/balcony off of the second floor. There are two separate, living rooms, and spacious bedrooms. There’s a room downstairs with two separate bunkbeds for overflow, so this would be a great property for either groups, hunting trips, or large families. Hunter was extremely, responsive, friendly, and helpful. Minor issue on my end where I had to ask for a bit of help the first night, and he answered late on a Friday night, and then checked back in on me that night, and again on Saturday. Located a few minutes outside of Nelsonville, so it’s a very reasonable trip to either Logan or Athens. You cant ask for much more.

Great place to stay! Feels a bit more like a hotel than Airbnb - no foodstuffs, no coffee, etc. There is a nice grocery store just down the road so stop by there.

I enjoyed a quiet three-day weekend at the house. Everything was spotless when we arrived, and the area was private and quiet, which was exactly what I was looking for. The host, Laura, was very pleasant and helpful with the few questions I had. I would definitely stay again!

Holly is nothing but a super and wonderful host! If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. She’s so lovely and welcoming! She always made sure that we’re comfortable, and we have everything we needed while staying at her place. She provided all the information and places that we can go and explore. Her cabin was beautiful and cozy! Everything was so clean and well organized. One of the many things that we loved about this stay was that Holly’s being super flexible. She was very understanding, and we just can’t thank her enough for making this vacation so fun and memorable! I would definitely come oback here when we’re back in Ohio next time!
