Monthly Rentals in Hickling Broad National Nature Reserve

A lovely cosy and comfortable cottage, everything we needed. Appreciated the welcome hamper and little touches. The view was fabulous, enjoyed watching rabbits grazing on the lawn every evening and even had a visit from a mother and baby deer. Central for all the exploring of the broads we wanted to do and a relaxing place to come home to at the end of each day. Comfortable beds, lovely linen and soft towels. Everything we needed for a time out and renewing stay. Thank you.

We stayed at Birchwood Barn as a family with 3 small children. Our stay was perfect from the moment we arrived with Alice arranging 3 gift bags personalised for each of our children. They absolutely loved it and it was a fantastic way to start our bank holiday weekend away. The communication from Alice both prior to and during our stay was excellent and we felt very well looked after. Everything in the property is clean and tidy with all amenities provided. The property is exactly as described, excellent privacy of the outdoor spaces. We enjoyed the large duck pond with duck food provided for our children to feed the ducks. The garden was also a nice size with our children able to play without being overlooked. The location is perfect, with local shops and restaurants nearby and Horsey beach a short drive away to go seal spotting. There were a number of different local companies to arrange day boating on the broads. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would certainly go back.

Eilish's place was amazing! We stayed for couples of nights and we have everything we need and more. Eilish made us feel very welcoming. We will stay there again, 100% sure!

Stopped for a week at the accommodation and could not fault it. Everything was clean and in good condition, especially the mattress on the bed which I found to be super comfy. The location as well was almost perfect being in a lovely pretty small village and ideal for exploring all of the northern broads area. There are some lovely walks, quiet cycling roads and nice beaches all close by. What made this stay extra special however was undoubtedly Rupert the owner who not have been any more helpful with suggestions on what to do and giving me a lift to the bike hire centre. He goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome and at home. Quite unlike other Airbnb's I have stopped in where you do not see the owners at all.
