Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.

Valleyside Annexe

Our annexe is a detached converted garage with living/kitchen area, a separate bedroom upstairs and a downstairs shower room. It has a private entrance with its own patio and outside dining space and beautiful views over the stunning Wye Valley. Plenty of walks are on the doorstep and there is a village pub, shop, castle and playground less than 10 minutes walk from the property. Well behaved dogs are welcome (£10 per dog) We are always in contact for any questions you may have.

We are fairly rural, so what 3 words is a great way to find us, they are: endlessly.balance.drummers Saint Briavels is a vibrant little village in the Forest of Dean, on the edge of the beautiful Wye Valley. It has an inn, a deli, a church and a castle. A monthly farmers' market is held in the village on the first Saturday morning of every month, where you can buy a whole range of local produce.
