Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real “Oldtimer” but also with oven. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120,- for a midweek/week.
