The brick-built annexe is detached from the main house allowing privacy and a large garden area for dogs to enjoy.

The cottage is; 2 .5 miles to York city center, close to bridle paths and footpaths (200m). There is a bus stop approx 400m from the cottage which goes directly to York. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. 5 minutes drive to 2 cinemas, leisure parks and retail units. This is the perfect location to explore York, the local area or enjoy a night out.

Built on the historical site of Syningthwaite the cottages are named as such because of their close proximity to the Syningthwaite Priory. Each cottage is named after a Prioress that ruled the Priory during its life time. Alice's cottage is a spacious cottage which has its own private garden and BBQ. The Gables is a 3 bedroom Edwardian villa in a quiet part of Tadcaster, ideally situated between York (9 miles) and Leeds (14 miles) and close to many popular wedding venues. Holidaymakers and workers are equally welcome. Parking is on the lane right outside. For those wanting to visit York, the Park and Ride at Askham Bar is 10 minutes away and a better option than parking in York. The Gables is not wheelchair friendly.
