Everything you need is present in the big house. Romain is very friendly and responds immediately to all your questions. We had no hot water at one point and Romain came by immediately. Super host and stay, with a perfect price/quality ratio. RECOMMENDED!

Ideal spot for anyone visiting Normandy for the D Day beaches and Museums. Super friendly town people very welcoming and the entertainment laid on for the D Day weekend was top notch. Lion Sur Mer is a super place as is Elsa’s “Villa Gidel”

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. The location is absolutely ideal: just a short walk to the charming village, close to the beach, and right by a little forest, which our little dog enjoyed exploring. The cottage itself is cozy, very well-equipped, and just the right size for two people. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. There is a nice little garden, with an incredible view stretching out over the sea – and the sunsets are beautiful to watch. Valérie and Christophe were great hosts – super responsive to any question we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for a weekend with friends (12 people) at Villa Boubou where Philippe welcomed us warmly and we had a great time. Passionate about American vehicles, we were able to discuss the subject, a good time of sharing. The guardian cat of the😉😄 premises is adorable and did not fail to welcome us and spend time with us. Top Amenities. Villa Boubou is a good alternative and well located for visiting museums and landing beaches. A little extra, a bakery located 50 meters away and a supermarket with its drive and gas 500 meters away. We highly recommend Villa Boubou and its hosts Karine & Plilippe. Laurence and Christophe

The concierge, Mr. Chrétien, welcomed us warmly. He is really friendly, smiling and gave us some great tips on places to visit in Cabourg. We easily found a parking space on the street. The apartment, located on the 2nd floor, is clean and bright. The bed is comfortable, as is the sofa. The rest is also very good, except for a small flaw: the toilets are really cramped and difficult to access. Outside, the green spaces are well maintained and the pool, in full sun, is really excellent!

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Hi The property was great for the 2 of us and as with us was ideal for motorcycles as it has underground secure parking with a lift opposite straight up to the apartment . 15-20 minute walk along the sea front into Cabourg . I would have liked normal beds but the fold down couches were also ok . I would stay there again .

Everything is as described by the host and he was very attentive to whether we needed anything. We always found parking near the house. It's a quiet area and close to the center and also quick to get out of Caen. There's a hypermarket a five-minute walk away. The front garden is shared, but there is a small private garden for the apartment in the back. We found a bowl of food and drink for our dog.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb near Caen. The apartment was clean, well decorated and perfectly equipped. The location was ideal for exploring Caen and its surroundings and enjoying a quiet and serene place to rest after a day of sightseeing. We particularly enjoyed the small terrace in front of the house for relaxing. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants to experience Caen and its surroundings.

Excellent stay at Marie's. The accommodation was very nicely decorated and everything was there for a very pleasant stay. We didn't get a chance to meet Marie but her relatives welcomed us very kindly. Very friendly communication with Marie. Very flexible check-in and check-out, which was a real plus. The accommodation is a little away from the city center so the ideal is to have a vehicle but with the buses we were able to walk there including to the beaches, even if it is slower. Marie was also a good source of advice for bike rentals. Finally, my friend being very tall (1m95) the 1m90 mattress was a little too short for him. But in his defense, I hadn't specified it. So great stay. Thank you very much

Functional and very clean apartment, well-appointed like a little nest. Pleasant terrace. Well located between beach and city. Easy parking nearby. Good bedding. Responsive and considerate hosts. Beware of the presence of a staircase and exterior in small pebbles (not practical with a large suitcase).

David is a great host; he was there to meet us when we arrived and also when we left. He ran through the amenities with us including local attractions. The accommodation is well located in an attractive quiet street and is beautifully presented, clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our 2-night stay there and would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in this area.

The apartment was lovely with great views. The only problem was obtaining the keys on arrival, possibly instructions could have been lost in translation. After a photo was sent showing the location of the key safe we manged to enter the car park. On arriving on the third floor we didn't know which door was ours and had to try the key in other doors until we found our door. We were very pleased with the apartment and its location to bars and restaurants. There were coffee bags plus tea bags and some biscuits, but no information as to the area, such as local patisserie, supermarket or places to visit. I would certainly recommend this apartment.
