We had a wonderful stay at The Beach House in Groot Brakrivier! The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Marya was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the beach, and we were spoiled with stunning views from every room. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the sea in a beautiful setting.

We really felt at home at Piece of Heaven. It was relaxing and peaceful, as the Garden Route always is. Whatever you need on holiday, is available at Felicia's place and we felt very safe and accommodated. Will definitely recommend a stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Gouritz, surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere and breathtaking ocean views. From the moment we entered the home, we were welcomed by a spectacular view of the sea that set the tone for a peaceful stay. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our time there comfortable and convenient. As a Garden Route local, I can confidently say this home is in one of the absolute best locations in the entire region. The setting is peaceful, scenic, and perfectly placed to enjoy all that the Garden Route has to offer. The house itself is truly beautiful—thoughtfully designed, exceptionally maintained, and filled with character. It’s rare to find a place that combines such a stunning location with such tasteful living spaces. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay here, though it is just for a day. Beautiful location, great view of sea from Balcony. Huge Thanks to Maiette & Nadine - proactive with communication & with clear instructions. Able to locate the home easily and check-in was smooth, though it was bit late at night. Would love to come back here for a longer stay.

Wenn ich könnte, würde ich sechs Sterne vergeben. Das Haus is sehr großzügig, komplett ausgestattet (wir hatten noch nie ein so gut ausgestattetes Haus), blitzsauber und die Aussicht ist unbezahlbar. Ideal für Familien die Kinderzimmer brauchen oder befreundete Paare, da durch die Größe des Hauses jeder immer noch die Chance auf Privatsphäre hat. Nicht zuletzt ist Marcel ein freundlicher Gastgeber, der bei Fragen äußerst schnell reagiert. Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Das Haus ist wunderbar- vorallem das riesige Esszimmer, die gemütliche Sofaecke u die Küche. Wir waren mit 4 Paaren vor Ort u hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist riesig. Lediglich die restlichen Schlafräume hätten wir uns etwas größer gewünscht. Wir würden aber jeden Fall wiederkommen, und die Kommunikation mit beyond war perfekt.

This was a stunning place in a beautiful location. We could not have asked for better accommodation for our party of 9. The house is beautifully furnished, indoors and outdoors, and has breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean from a high vantage point. There was so much to do in the area that all our excursions were interesting and fun and if we opted to stay home and relax, we could take a stroll down to the beach, visit local restaurants or explore nearby hiking trails. Patricia and Ray were great hosts and made our stay easy and comfortable. Would definitely come back again to this special place!

Our principle contact was Jonathan who couldn’t have done more for us, a superb host who lives nearby. The property is well equipped throughout and located in a safe residential area just 200m from the estuary. We spent 24 wonderful days there. One point is that internal access to the upstairs is by a rather narrow spiral staircase which might not suit all ie elderly but for others ie children a point of excitement. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending both the property and hosts as a wonderful home to relax and unwind in. We’ve only found one other to match!

We recently stayed at the Bluehouse on the Pinnacle Golf Course, and it was an unforgettable experience. The house itself was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a luxurious home away from home. The golf course was simply amazing—a true bucket list course for any golf enthusiast. The views were breathtaking, the course was impeccably maintained, and it provided a great challenge for players of all skill levels. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here, from relaxing in the beautiful surroundings to creating special memories together. We can’t recommend this experience enough and look forward to visiting again!

Not many places so petfriendly. All 5 our Frenchies (and a last minute cousin) was welcome. House is literally on the ocean, awsome walks with dogs on the beach. The best for me was the inside braai with big open sliding door and deck. Just perfect. O ja, and a very big plus also was the awsome bed linen, slept like a king with ocean right outside. The Chapline Cottage is a gem, nestled in a beautiful natural landscape with breathtaking views. The interior design, using natural materials, is unique and shows great taste and attention to detail. The facilities are perfect, nothing is missing. It is a place with a special energy, you can forget about time here. Tammy and Andrew are wonderful hosts: always available (while always remaining in the background), they respond quickly to questions and provide any information you might want. The beautiful, huge grounds allow for short hikes through the fynbos to the cliffs. The Edge is a sanctuary in the very best sense of the word. We have stayed in many places during our various trips through South Africa. The Caplin Cottage tops them all. Thank you for having us. Thanks to Tammy and Andrew for their hospitality, which we will remember fondly for a very long time.
