Beacon House: beachfront family home

Super location for family with young children; house on a safe, private road and easy access to the beach with cycle/scooter paths. Close to other seaside locations (Whistable, Margate, Ramsgate) all worth visiting but also walking distance to Herne Bay.

Sunset Getaway Herne Bay

KaterinaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This place is by far our favourite out of all the places we’ve stayed at across Europe and the UK. From the moment we arrived, Marina made us feel so welcome — every little detail was carefully thought out. The house and the garden are even more beautiful than in the photos. There was a personalised welcome board with snacks tailored to our allergies, and everything we needed was provided to prepare breakfast. I honestly don’t have the words to describe the peace and joy we experienced during our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back soon! I highly recommend this place — Marina is a wonderful host who will make you feel completely at home.

A row of colorful beach huts lines the grassy shore, overlooking calm waters. The huts display various hues, including stripes and solid colors, under a sky filled with scattered clouds. The pavement in the foreground provides a clear walking path along the beach.

The Old Dairy

GopikaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed the stay as it was really quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The host has even left few bottles of beer for us as a welcome gift which I have not seen elsewhere. Elizabeth had given me the instructions to check in therefore the check in was also smooth. I would recommend this place in Canterbury for a small group of friends or a family.
An open-plan living area is highlighted by a modern kitchen featuring white cabinetry and a wooden countertop. A stone fireplace serves as a focal point, framed by large windows that allow natural light to fill the space. A comfortable gray sofa is positioned thoughtfully for relaxation.

Little Charles Lodge, By The Sea, Herne Bay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sebastian’s cabin in Herne Bay. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. It has a peaceful, welcoming feel — we felt comfortable right away. Sebastian was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout. You can really feel that he cares about his guests, which made our stay feel personal and supported in a way that’s rare. The cabin is also well located, with lovely cafés nearby (check out Cacao Atelier and The Hungry Plum) and easy access to nearby walks and the seafront, making it a great base for exploring the area. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, kindness, and ease.
A small outdoor seating area is presented with a round table and two folding chairs. The setting is surrounded by greenery, including flowering plants and a wooden fence that offers privacy. Sunlight highlights the patio tiles, creating a bright and inviting space.

The Garden Cottage at Bank St.

SamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fantastic property in a great location near the main shopping street and close to the beach, a great base for our needs whilst staying in Herne Bay for a family wedding. Fintan and Penny have gone above and beyond to ensure our stay in the cottage was like a home from home, even thinking about a range of toys and books for our children to play/read with during our stay
