Beach house vacation rentals in Hermanville-sur-Mer

This cottage topped off an amazing trip to Normandie. The space is spacious and was super clean, it has a huge downstairs area with equally huge bedrooms upstairs. Everything you need in the kitchen with a great outdoor patio. The geese were very fun to have at your back fence also… Only 15mins to Omaha beach and 5 mins drive to the port town nearby where we had some beautiful sunset dinners by the water. Communication was excellent also. We absolutely loved our stay here and couldn’t recommend more highly 10/10

The most stunning and fairy tale looking house that I have ever seen, it’s surrounded by nature, the beach is super near. The owner of the property was very kind. The only thing that I would advise is to come with a car if the plan is to move around and visit towns. It’s super difficult and expensive to get Ubers or taxis. Overall this was a beautiful experience and we would’ve loved to stay longer.

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit wunderschönem Seeblick auf die Hafeneinfahrt und Bucht von Le Havre aus allen Räumen insbesondere aus der Wohnküche. Eine schöne Terrasse bei gutem Wetter. Eine sehr ruhige und nette Nachbarschaft mit Parkplatz vor der Tür. Tolle Bäcker/ Fleischer und Supermarkt in 5-10min Entfernung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gleich zuhause gefühlt und hätten gerne noch mehr Zeit dort verbracht und kommen bestimmt wieder!

Really great apartment with lots of character. Perfect location for surrounding Normandy landing beaches and museums etc. Responsive and kind host who made it very easy.

Beautiful home in the beach in a historic place! Home was warm and cozy with beach access and restaurants/shops are walkable. Would definitely stay again!

Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour dans le logement de Philippe. La maison est charmante, parfaitement propre et bien équipée. La literie est d'excellente qualité ! Et surtout, le jardin est absolument sublime. Nous avons grandement apprécié pouvoir déjeuner sur la terrasse dans cet écrin de verdure. Idéalement situé, nous avons pu à la fois profiter des avantages de la campagne (calme, charmant, et toutefois à deux pas de tous les commerces utiles) et de la mer puisque Cabourg se situe à quelques minutes de route. Philippe a été un hôte bienveillant et attentionné, avec qui il a été facile de communiquer. Je recommande chaudement ce logement dans lequel je reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Studio à la propreté irréprochable. Fidèle aux photos, voire mieux. Bon emplacement. Équipement très bien. J étais ravie et je reviendrai avec plaisir !

Nous avons séjourné une petite semaine chez Benedicte. La maison, le quartier et les situations sont parfaits pour séjourner quelques jours à Trouville et rayonner à pied. Plages, restaurants, commerces et gare si nécessaire sont à proximité. La maison est impeccable, très bien équipée et très agréable. Bénédicte est une hôtesse charmante et très accueillante. Nous sommes venus avec notre cocker et le jardin est totalement clos et sécurisé. Nous recommandons sans hésiter

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. Delphine est très sympathique, réactive et flexible. Son chalet, indépendant, moderne et bien équipé, agrémenté d’une belle terrasse et d’un beau jardin est exceptionnel car bien situé, doublement : d’un côté, un accès privé et clos et de l’autre côté, l’accès à tous les agréments d’un camping, en face de l’autre côté de la rue. De plus, il a une quadruple exposition avec des fenêtres partout. On s’y sent tout de suite chez soi. Notons que Delphine est exigeante par rapport au soin qu’il faut apporter à son logement et à ses équipements. Mais cela ne nous a posé aucun problème car nous sommes nous-mêmes très soigneux et respectueux. Bref, nous avons passé un super séjour, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. It was perfectly clean, had everything we could have thought we needed, and the location was absolutely perfect. Thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

We had a wonderful couple of days at Jose and Muriel's beautiful house. The location was perfect with very easy walk to beach or shops and was very peaceful. There was a misunderstanding about our arrival time (entirely my fault) but Jose was very quick to resolve any issues and we were in within 10 minutes. The house itself was immaculately clean and tidy and very well equipped. Beds were super comfy. Our only gripe was that there was no toilet upstairs but that was such a minor thing! We also loved the garden which is an absolute sun trap.

This was possibly the best accommodation we have stayed in while holidaying in France. The Villa Marnaise was perfect in every way. A beautiful stylish home which has been lovingly cared for and decorated. Veronique has made every effort to ensure you experience a lovely, comfortable holiday and has fitted out her home with every possible item you might need during your stay. The location is excellent, it is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach. It is also a great base for visiting nearby places of interest. The only improvement we might suggest is a handrail on the steps to aid the elderly or infirm , and the internal doors were a little noisy. Excellent séjour chez Bruno, logement très propre, très bien équipé, très bien placé et communication très fluide. Je recommande.

We stayed here as a family (my wife, our daughter and I), and really enjoyed our time. The house is spacious, easily big enough for two families. The location is excellent: it’s on a quiet little street, but just a few minutes’ walk to a beautiful, wide beach. Shops, restaurants and the town center are all within walking distance too, which made everything super convenient. Inside, the living room and kitchen on the ground floor are very comfortable and well-equipped, and the terrace with a BBQ and outdoor seating was a great place to relax in the evenings. All in all, a great stay and everything was smooth and easy. We’d be happy to come back again!

Good value house in the middle of Lion sur Mer. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are super comfortable. There could be a bit more chilling space, the seating area is a bit limited. For us it wasn't a problem as we were lucky with the very un-Normand weather - but if it had been raining a lot and we had had to spend more time inside, it could have been a bit harder, especially for the kids. The whole house overall is a bit on the small-ish side - but then again, everything you need is there. The heating works very well, a bit too well at times - as the house can feel quite cold, it blasts hot air, which is great for not feeling cold, but can feel a bit suffocating. I'm nit picking, clearly, but we had a great time in the house, and would definitely come back for another stay.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux petit séjour dans « le coquillage »🐚, petit studio très joliment décoré, confortable, impeccable ! Son jardin et mobilier de jardin nous ont permis de vivre autant dehors que dedans, et heureusement avec les grosses chaleurs ! Vous êtes à proximité de tout, supermarché, bonnes tables, plage, très joli parc de la Baleine. Mylène est une hôte très réactive et arrangeante, de quoi rendre toute l’expérience magique ✨ Ps: notre petite chienne a adorée aussi 🐶
