House vacation rentals in Hermanus

We were 2 families and there was place for everyone. The house has everything you require including games and a table tennis board to keep the kids entertained. The coffee and rusks was appreciated. Will definitely recommend Claudette's place for anyone looking for a peaceful weekend away

The house has a perfect concept, is fully equipped and is beautifully located just in front of the open sea. The information before arriving is very complete and the response to questions immediate. Would love to come back for longer and can definitely recommend it! Frederic

Spacious home perfect for large families or friends group. Centrally located near to shops, restaurants and the beach. Good communication with the host Tom. Would highly recommend it.

We loved our stay at Lydia's place in Hermanus. Beautiful mountain views, garden and birds, and direct access to mountain walks whilst reasonably close to Voelklip beach. It had all the amenities that our family needed and a lovely authentic and rustic feel.

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. Stuart was a great host, communicated promptly from the start, flexible with the check in and check out times and super friendly. The house and pool were a 'wow', both bigger than anticipated. The pool was 6x2.4 metres and deep enough to swim in and the little children in our party loved the seating ledge which was wide and long enough for them to play on when they weren't bobbing around on their floats. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and more, including extras such as beach towels, cleaning products, toiletries and condiments. The main bedroom had a stunning sea view and was very spacious and comfortable with a fabulous ensuite and patio area overlooking the mountain. All in all a faultless 5 star location. We would definitely recommend.

A lovely house! Very spacious, 2 en-suite bedrooms, 2 longe areas. All the facilities were as described and lots of thoughtful details - fab decor. Great views at the front and enclosed garden at the rear. We hope to be back!

We had a great stay at Claydens place. We went with our toddler and everything was so organized and felt homey and safe for her to wonder around. Very easy and clear instructions, highly recommended.

My family has a great time at Cara’s. The house is spacious and comfortable. Our two dogs were safe and couldn’t escape the property while enjoying downtime during the day. Close the beach and central Hermanus (a good launchpad).

Oudehuis was perfect for our long weekend stay as a family. It's incredibly central, right in the heart of what feels like a pedestrian area, with lots of shops, restaurants and coffee spots right on the doorstep, and the cliff path is just a block away. The house is incredibly well-equipped. Didy has thought of every detail to make one's stay comfortable and she even left a generous supply of provisions and fresh produce (like bread, milk, ham and fruit) for our arrival. At night, there is a fair amount of car noise from the road outside, but it didn't detract from our stay. I highly recommend Oudehuis and we look forward to returning.

We stayed in this house for 3 weeks with 4 adults and 2 kids. It was wonderful for a family with small kids. Walking distance to the beach and a closed garden for kids to play in. Nice, quite and safe area.

We had an amazing long weekend at Hangklip Villa. Our host, Eric, was informative, helpful and kind. The Villa was spacious and beautiful. Our views and sunsets were spectacular and the outings & walks on the beach enjoyable. We had 3 under 4 year-olds with us and they loved every moment on the beach. Thanks again to Eric!💙🩵

We had a lovely stay at Villa Johan. The house is big enough to host a larger family with diverse needs, so it is ideal for a family get-together. It is perfectly situated, close to the beach and amenities but away from the busy town center. Thank you!

Our second time here at this wonderful house on the edge of the lagoon was truly spectacular! The house has absolutely everything you could need including table tennis, tennis racquets, bicycles and board games. The proximity to the water is very special with our boat moored at the beach right in front of the house. Thank you so much Marlize!

we had a wonderful stay here. the location was ideal being so close to the town with so many restaurants to chose from! we didn't need to use the car once! the house is beautiful and spacious with a fantastic braai room which was perfect for christmas day dinner for all the family! Dieter and Kennedy were very helpful and always responsive!

Amazing house with great views over the ocean. Located within a stonethrow of the beach with easy access to all Hermanus has to offer. Fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of crashing waves. Has every amenity you could need to make your stay comfortable and our dogs absolutely loved it too !

Had a lovely stay in Onrus, walking distance to a stunning beach and to the local restaurant. The house itself is stunning, well looked after and was absolutely perfect. Would definitely stay again!

Ciska’s holiday home is a real gem. Squeaky clean, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Every detail has been thought through - our little dog even had bowls of fresh water left out for her arrival. The coastal path is very close by so fabulous walking on the doorstep. And Lizette’s for dinner is just around the corner so an easy stroll to and from.
