Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Herkimer County

Host responded quickly and provided recommendations. Good location with plenty of parking. Nice local restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Kitchen with useful amenities. Would stay here again

We always enjoy our time in Old Forge, this was our first stay here and it will not be our last. We loved everything about the Lilly Pad. the location was perfect, near town but not in town. the space was large enough for our party of 5. Was just enough space to spread out but feel cozy. We enjoyed using the kayaks and the scenery. Thank you Rick and Sacha for sharing your lovely space!

I’m so happy that we found this farmhouse in the country. Conveniently located with a beautiful setting . We were even given fresh farm eggs. I wish we were able to do more hiking, but the weather was not in our favor. Best of all we could bring our fur baby with us . If I was coming up to this area again, I would be more than happy to stay there again. The House was extremely clean. It’s a farmhouse so yes, I had to get rid of a few wasps but that’s expected.

Our February stay at Camp Blantons, Old Forge was fantastic! Bridget was a superb host and extremely helpful. The house was very clean and well-equipped. There is a spacious entryway which was great for all of our winter gear. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room which has many oversized windows for viewing nature. The wood burning stove in the living room added to the warmth of the house. There are three bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable and cozy. In addition, there are two full bathrooms which made it perfect for two couples. Finally, the property is beautiful, it was a winter wonderland surrounded by tall pines and there is a large pond that we snowshoed around. We enjoyed watching the deer on the snowy landscape. The area is quiet and just a short drive to town. We highly recommend staying at Camp Blantons for your next visit to the Adirondacks!

Staying at Brandon and Corey's place was like the definition of the best AirBnB can be. The house is cozy and beautiful, and we found it totally decorated for the Christmas season and perfect for our party of 6. It's the level of thoughtfulness that made our stay special. 'Emergency' amenities laid out in the bedroom just in case; a kitchen that is very well equipped, well-designed and highly functional; coffee supplies laid out and ready for the morning; a binder of local recommendations, etc. etc. Brandon's communications were also fantastic. He reached out proactively to ensure we had everything we needed and set a very relaxed and welcoming tone. It is no mystery why he and Corey are super hosts! Thank you, Brandon and Corey, for setting the bar for what other properties/owners can be!!

The house was just a quick ride outside of town and very easy to find! Plenty of space for our family and we were able to enjoy a movie on the big screen downstairs! The kitchen was well stocked as well as towels and blankets so the kiddos could cuddle up near the fireplace! We will keep you on our list for future visits to Old Forge! Thank you The Russo Family!

The house was exactly what is pictured. We have been here a few times and each time we were not disappointed. Could use a couple full size mirrors but other than that the place was immaculate and Cindy is very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great host and beautiful place to stay! Everything was very organized and clean. Close to town and easily walkable distance to main strip of Old Forge. Was even greeted by some deer every morning! Would love to come back during summer to enjoy the fire pit and river in the backyard.

Jaynee and her family made us feel right at home. Our stay was super relaxing and enjoyable. The property had gorgeous views and the kids loved the cows. The space had all the necessary amenities and was very clean. Dan took our family on a ride through the property to see the wild life and views. I would highly recommend this place. We will be back !

Very nice, reasonably spacious apartment taking up the entire second floor of a house, with a separate entrance. Obviously rehabbed sometime recently. As the listing and comments say, the stairs going up are solid, but have a pretty narrow tread, so you have to be careful. The water, especially the hot water in the bathroom, has a distinct sulfurous odor, but seems to be fine for washing/showering. (Susan left us some large bottles of fresh water in the fridge for drinking. ) There is no air conditioning, but there are a couple of fans. The apartment can get pretty hot midday/afternoon in the heat of summer (probably mid to late July/early August), so if you'll be there at that time and will be spending the daytime in your room, you might want to consider someplace else with air conditioning. But even then, nights usually cool down. Floors are a little uneven. Very short ride to Glimmerglass opera nearby. A short walk to the marvelous Sunflower Cafe for breakfast or lunch.

Elise was always helpful and responsive. Riding snowmobile for the first time in Old Forge was great and finding the trail from this location was a breeze. The apartment was perfect for what I wanted; clean, new, private, even tall ceilings for a very open feel. So glad I chose this place over a motel.

Absolutely love our stay! We had the lower level of a charming home. Spacious rooms, living, kitchen, dining, bathroom and bedroom. Renee is an amazing host and we hope to return again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I booked, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing detailed instructions and answering all my questions promptly. The property itself was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet neighborhood but still close to all the attractions and amenities I wanted to explore.

Honestly, couldn't have asked for a better place for our stay. We were in town to run in the Peak2Brew two day relay from Gore Mountain to Utica and this spot was a great place to make our home base the night before the race and the night in between . Very clean, spacious and comfortable for us all to get as much rest as possible so we could run as hard as possible. Conveniently located right beside a grocery store. Would love to come back to the area to explore when not running and would book this place again without any hesitation. Definitely one of, if not the, best Airbnb I've ever stayed at.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful, and Salvatore is a phenomenal host! We had a fantastic trip! The cabin is even cuter than the photos and we can’t wait to come back.

Very quaint cottage. Wonderful location overlooking the lake. A spot to unplug and enjoy nature. Jon was a great host and very knowledgeable about the area and willing to give recommendations.

Perfect place for my family to unwind! Wonderful yard, great fire pit. We left once for groceries and then never again until check out!

Had a excellent stay at Paul’s place ( camp Seneca ) . Camp has totally been redone very well with all modern appliances, bathroom and other . It is a wonderful place to stay , private with so many things to do in the area . Beside the beautiful camp what stood out most was Paul’s level of service . He was easy to reach , accommodating and friendly . My personal opinion it was excellent service and Paul wants to make sure his guest have a great experience. I look forward to going back it’s a little treasure nestled into the Adirondack park . Thanks again Paul for great stay !

We loved staying at this cabin! It felt like we were in a treehouse. It’s on the smaller side, but every inch of the space was maximized to ensure optimal comfort and amenities. Easy drives to both Old Forge and Inlet. We were very pleased with our stay and would certain consider it again!

We had a wonderful stay at Otter Oasis. Easy check-in, fully stocked kitchen (crockpot, pots/pans, coffee maker, etc), very clean and cozy!

Maria’s place by the lake was perfect! wanted to take our 3yr old somewhere new and this place was perfect! the small lake with the kayaks and paddle boat were a big hit and let’s not forget the screened in trampoline made our lives easy come night time( couldn’t keep the kid awake for once if we tried) .. Maria was very responsive and super friendly letting us even stay most of the day on our checkout day! could go on and on about the place it was a great time and we highly recommend it especially if you have kids!

Perfect weekend getaway spot! My husband and I stayed 2 nights and snowmobiled the area. Loved everything about this place!
