Welcoming light & airy place with tasteful décor, comfy bedding and very comfortable living room. Kitchen though small is incredibly well stocked, both with food (including pantry items and fresh treats provided in fridge) and tools for those that like cooking: we made the most of them! A real cooks' kitchen. Bathroom also has a you-don't-need-to-bring-it completeness. Enchanting garden with outdoor seating, & handsome hens(with delicious free eggs!) for added interest. Nice country walks, and Rebecca & Richard are delightfully friendly, generous, knowledgeable and helpful. A special nook of England!

This cottage is just so peaceful in beautiful surroundings. Within a short drive you can be in the Norfolk Broads or any of the local beaches, from Great Yarmouth down to Aldeburgh. For dog owners I would recommend Kessingland. It's just such a lovely stroll and surprisingly not busy. Dogs are welcome on the beach all year round here. Dave is a really friendly chap and I'm sure if we had had any problems at all with the cottage he would have been there to help out, but the cottage was faultless. Just a lovely quiet place, surrounded by fields. If we visit Suffolk again I will definitely see if this cottage is available. It's so relaxing here. What a hidden gem!

Perfect place for the two of us and our dog. Very comfortable and peaceful place to return to after a day exploring the broads, with parking in front of the lodge. We loved all the extra touches left for us and our dog too! WiFi worked fine for us and the TV as well as plenty of books/ games etc. The beds were clean and comfortable. Sonya was a lovely host and very responsive. We visited Norwich which was well worth it, so much to see and do. Lowestoft is only minutes away with sandy beaches. We had a full English breakfast on our last morning at the marina bar/restaurant which was huge and tasty. Nice trip away in a lovely area.

We had the most lovely family holiday here. With a 3 and 1 year old this property had everything we needed to make us feel all feel right at home. A cot, high chair, bib, black out binds, you name it. The river and decking at the bottom of the garden was just so peaceful, our go to spot. We watched nesting swans and ducks, we all loved it. Thank you Hannah for having us. You have a beautiful Airbnb!!

We had a fantastic stay at Mandalay whilst attending a family wedding. Tom was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Mandalay was very comfortable, having everything needed for a lovely weekend stay. Many thanks Tom.

Tommy was a fab host. Communication was great and really fast - especially when I couldn’t figure out the oven and dinner was at risk lol. He was really thoughtful organising a cushion to be posted to us for the high chair. Definitely a host to recommend.

This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed in! The barn is spotless, had everything you need - and wonderful touches such as garden games and board games. The surrounding area is peaceful - with birdsong all day long. We spent a short but fabulous visit enjoying the space, the garden, the views and the hot tub! Just wonderful. Shaun is incredibly helpful and friendly. We will certainly be going back!

Just finished a very relaxing few days and it was everything we could have hoped for. Stunning view and so peaceful! Caravan had everything we needed. Spotless and clean. So sad to leave and am already wondering when I could next come and stay. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Sara.

Beautiful place to stay, close to the beach and nice and quiet. Chalet was well equipped and bed was very comfy. Viktoria was very quick to reply to our messages in the lead up to our trip. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Wow what a lovely place to stay! It’s immaculate and has so much included what with the Hamper on arrival, kids toys and books and games, DVDS, spotlessly clean and the quality of the linen impressive! I would go as far as saying it’s the cleanest place we have stayed and in terms of location it’s perfect! All in walking distance! Comfy beds and sofas! I can not fault this place one bit! If you book you will not be disappointed! It’s on a lovely site with pool £4 per child and £5 per adult well worth it so clean and tidy! Lovely bar on site too all dog friendly! Get booking you will not be disappointed!

We had such a lovely time. Location was peaceful and the accommodation was perfectly placed for planned activities and so close to the beach. Inside was clean and lovely and warm and Hannah was fantastic at answering any questions very quickly and also making sure we were settled in. Thank you.

We went for a family weekend to connect and just had the most amazing time. Toastie warm comfy beds. Don’t forget to book the pool and top tip… remember to take a towel for the pool!

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

We have had a lovely week at David’s cottage. It has everything you could need and more. We loved the kitchen and the garden. The locations great we have really enjoyed the week thanks for having us ⭐️

A great chalet we used it as a base we travelled into Norwich and Norfolk also to great yarmouth as well as the little villages close by. What a beautiful surrounding with all the little cafes near the beach. Highly recommend staying here as a stay vacation or using it as a base like we did to discover more. from Mandy, Marc and our fur baby poppy, might be her last holiday at 16 1/2 years old but she got around.

Debbie's caravan is quite possibly the best located caravan on the whole Haven site. It's peaceful and about a 2 min walk to the beach, which we loved, yet still close to the main amenities/restaurants etc. The caravan itself was clean, homely and completely useable. Besides towels (including tea-towels), which we were advised to bring ourselves, everything else was provided - linen, washing up liquid, pots/pans etc. I would advise taking a few extra jumpers, even in the British summer, as there's no central heating. The bathroom towel rail was a godsend for drying swim stuff and wet clothes, but unfortunately it rained a lot whilst we were there & we needed more clothes than expected. We bought the entertainment pass for swimming and evening entertainment but if you're not bothered by these, you could absolutely have an enjoyable time without purchasing. All other activities are PAYG. We would absolutely rebook Debbie's caravan for another staycation and highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay with my children & grandchildren. The house was extremely comfy with everything we could possibly need including toys & books for the kids. Plenty of space so no one was on top each other. Fantastic location to a very safe beach at the end of the road a 5 min walk away. The cafe at the beach was outstanding too. We'll definitely be returning in the future I'm sure.

A stay in a lighthouse is exciting by default. But a stay at The Lighthouse Winterton-on-Sea is a true experience! We enjoyed the renovated and excellently kept historical building, the views from the top level, the warmth of the decoration (despite the windy environment) and the great walks in the surrounding area, the dunes, the seals, the doll like villages. Colleen, the caretaker, was always a message away supporting us in any requirements. We would definitely return :) Thanasis & Christina Athens, Greece

WOW! What a place to stay! This is a stunningly beautiful home. Decor is gorgeous! Hot tub was amazing and definitely needed after a 7/8 mile walk from here to Winterton! Could not fault the place. Bottle of prosecco was a lovely welcoming gift too! Thank you ever so much for a wonderful stay. Hope to return soon! Jackie

Thimble cottage is small but perfectly formed. As stated the stairs are very steep in a very small space which if you are not very agile you should take into consideration. The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need. The only thing I would have liked is a full length mirror in the bedroom. It is Close to shops, pub/restaurants. The pub at the end of the road, the Ship, wasn’t for us but if you just want a drink when you get home it’s ok. The Outside area reminded me of a working man’s club. The Castle pub/restaurant is a 10 minute walk especially if you find the short cut. Food was good and nice area to sit outside. The best bit for us was the very long sandy beach which is dog friendly all year around 2 minutes walk away. Great base for visiting Norfolk. There is a small dishwasher which Tracey informed us that the quickest wash is the glasses option. My husband didn’t realise that and put it on economy, I didn’t think it was ever going to end. Lol. We Would recommend

This is our second visit. We love the bungalow and the area. Great Yarmouth is only 10 minute drive. The bungalow has a seaview and beach is a 2 minute walk down the cliff. Hemsby beach to the left and calorfornia and caister to the right. Nice walks along the beach.

We loved our stay everything in the chalet is catered for, the bedding was fantastic, towels fantastic, great that there is everything you need washing up liquid bin bags washing sponges salt & pepper it’s a home from home There are so many added extra’s games DVD’s Just a short walk from the beach and amanitas We will definitely be re-booking again

We recently had a couple of nights in the beach themed chalet and were so impressed that we just had to try the American theme too! The price was so reasonable for what you get. We spent two nights and had everything that we needed and more. Throughtout both of the chalets we've stayed at, the owner has gone above and beyond to make sure we're comfortable nd tken care of - such as thoughtful decor, and little extras to make your stay even better. The decor was so fun and interesting, there's so much to look at and we could tell that the owner put real effort into making everything beautiful and picking out unique items while keeping with the theme. Thr owner was friendly, helpful and easy to get ahold of for any queries or questions. Honestly, we can't wait to return and would definitely recommend!
