Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Ons huisje ligt midden in de velden, op 45 min rijden van Amsterdam, op een kleinschalig recreatiepark waar ook een ander huisje van ons, Familie Buitenhuys, staat. Je verblijft in een volledig en comfortabel huis met vloerverwarming. De lichte, speels ingedeelde ruimtes zorgen voor een open en ontspannen sfeer. In de master bedroom staat een vrijstaand bad bij het raam met uitzicht over de weilanden, Nederland in zijn puurste vorm. Geschikt voor maximaal 4 volwassenen + 1 baby.

Be welcome for a wonderfully relaxing stay on the farm! You will stay in the oldest building of the yard; the haystack. Do you or your children really want to experience farm life? Feel free to take a look and get to know the love between humans and animals. But you have also come to the right place for a relaxing stay. Enjoy the beautiful view that extends to the Markermeer, make use of the reading material or take a seat on your terrace where the cows pass you.

Our cottage is in one of the most beautiful Waterland villages, Broek in Waterland. It is located in a beautiful area, 8 km from Amsterdam. The bus stop is a 3-minute walk away, so you can be at Amsterdam Centraal in 12 minutes. The guest house itself offers everything you need during a vacation. In our guesthouse, it is wonderful to "come home" after, for example, a busy day in the city, or, for example, a bike ride along all the nice villages here in the area.
