Was absolutely a lovely hidden getaway! It’s a very beautiful area and everything felt so homely. There’s plenty to do and it’s only a few miles if you need a shop or anything. It was a fab stay with no hiccups whatsoever 😊

We have thoroughly enjoyed an all too brief, relaxing stay at Tarrs Yard. From entering the charming cottage, to leaving, one can't fail to be impressed by all that Lizzie and Andy have so stylishly created. The helpful, informative folder inside the cottage provides for guests' range of interests and enables visitors to capitalise on the hosts' wealth of knowledge and experience of the area. We can't wait to return and anticipate discovering more of what this area affords, whilst assured of a restful, peaceful property to daily return to. Thank you to you both for our introduction to North Yorkshire.

This place is a hidden gem. We stumbled across it looking for a very last minute getaway, booked and arrived on the same day. enjoyed our first 2 days that much we decided to stay another night. This off the grid get away is the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and recuperate after a very busy time for us. Our pod was perfect for myself, fiance, baby and our dog and offered something different away from the loud hustle and bustle of city breaks. From wood fired hot tubs and water boilers to long walks along the beach of Scarborough or Filey just a short trip away . The staff are all very helpful and polite, doesn't seem to be anything to big they can do to help make your visit more enjoyable. We will most certainly be back.
A sunlit living area features large windows providing views of the garden. A comfortable sectional sofa is complemented by decorative pillows. A wooden coffee table holds small items and a remote. A television is positioned opposite the seating, with a potted plant adding a touch of greenery.

Elm Tree Cottage, Cottage Farm

Delightful cottage in a very peaceful location. The living room is very light and spacious and the outside seating area is a bonus. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The location was ideal for exploring the Yorkshire coast and the Wolds including attractions like Sledmere House and the Yorkshire Arboretum. There are no shops or pubs in Foxholes but that did not affect our stay, supermarkets deliver to the address and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within a short drive. Perfect place to relax.
