Great place to stay. I wish it had been longer

We had a really good time. Rita put a lot of love in this house. We were looking for something quite and we were not disappointed. We slept better than anywhere else. It is the perfect place to relax. And what was really nice as well: Thanks to Rita we found a boat to rent and could catch our dinner and spend some good time on the water. We even saw some little whales. The rocks not far from the harbor are good to catch Makrele. The little supermarket is not far away and you get everything you need to survive. :) If you want to have a bit more choice (especially of fruits and vegetables) you should buy it at a bigger store on the way to Salsbruket. Rita was always super quick in replying our questions.

FOR a place!!!! I felt an immediate calm as soon as I entered the house. The house is large and absolutely beautiful!! It was good and warm, nice decor and lacked nothing. There is a piano on the second floor, and I loved it! I can't play, but I had a great time sitting by it and "playing" while I looked out over Vefsna. Absolutely magical!! I have already decided to return next spring/summer, and then I will stay more than just 2 days. I really recommend both the house and the hosting here!!!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. Great rooms, equipped with what we needed, beautiful outdoor area and views. We especially enjoyed the view of the sunset from the bay window in the living room. Beautiful surroundings with birds, hares, deer and sheep with lambs nearby. Thank you so much for letting us experience this.

This house is a great place to recharge your batteries while enjoying the boat and the fjord. It's also a very welcoming place in an old typical Norwegian house. We loved warming up by the wood stove and enjoying a good coffee near the fire after a fishing trip or hike! In short, we'll be back!!!

We had a lovely stay at Edel’s place which was very clean and had everything we needed. Conveniently located and very homey feeling. Host was very responsive.

Very cute accommodation in peaceful area. Lots of items and history to wonder about in the house, yet modern equipment to use. We got good tips about activities and a great tip from Cecilia that the local camping restaurant was offering sunday buffet as everything else basically was closed during easter. Great stay!

The best house we've ever been! In the middle of nature, panoramic windows in all rooms. Fantastic views, wonderfully quiet...great house! Canoeing, hiking, close to shopping...immersive nature. Wildlife observation. Björn and family are wonderful hosts. We highly recommend the house to everyone = )

We were received by Tove in a very welcoming way. The place is beautiful, overlooking the fjord and mountains. The apartment is practical and nicely decorated. The host shows that she has a sense of making things nice, both with fun decorative items and nice furniture. Outside, there were fresh flowers. Walking distance to the sea. A few minutes away there is a very beautiful medieval church and war memorials. And last but not least, there is a short drive to Dønnesfjellet where the view is indescribably beautiful and the midnight sun appears.

Cathrines place had a beautiful view, was very clean and perfectly located close to hiking trails up the seven sisters. Cathrine even gave us recommendations on which hikes to go on. :) We only spent one night but were sad to leave, so can only recommend!

Very peaceful and quiet place easy to access from E6! It felt like a home away from home.

Absolutely wonderful place if you're thinking of a trip to Torghatten. Really beautiful place, nice apartment. Cheap. Nothing was missing. The bed is at the end of its life and makes noise at the slightest movement. That's the only criticism. The mattresses are really good, though.

Beautiful apartment that fits very well for families with children and pets. We brought our 1.5 year old son and dog. It was so cozy decorated with toys available for the children. The soul of the old neighborhood school was preserved. The first impression was that it was lovely to get in there, with high ceilings and large windows in all rooms that let in a lot of light and overlooked the green lawn and blue sky. Cozy kitchen with long kitchen counter. Outside, there were clearly marked parking spaces for the cars. And a few meters beyond there were outdoor toys for the children and a little beyond a kindergarten with more outdoor toys. It is close to the shop and Kapteinen restaurant. Beautiful to walk down the quiet road where free-range chickens were a great entertainment for our son. We stopped by Storvika farm where we bought nice local products both to wear and to eat. Really enjoyed and would love to come back!

Great apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to the airport and ferry terminal, had everything we needed. It’s the middle apartment in a 3 storey house so to enter you have to go up a flight of stairs but that was no issue for us.

Overall great stay - it was less than 24hrs that we had there, so hard to judge it properly. The place was beautiful and comfortable, Viola was a great host too. The location was a bit dead with not much to do but that could have been because we happened to be there on a public holiday. There was a bit of noise that woke us up, but not from traffic, mostly from seaguls. I think that after 2 weeks of triple glazing we notice every sound now😂 I believe Viola’s place had double glazed windows which allowed a bit more sound in. Still quiet for normal standards. Some very thoughtful snacks for guests were a great touch.❤️ Supportive mattress - really confortable! Strongly recommend that you stay at this place!!

Absolutely stunning place to stay, it felt very homely, private, really clean and cosy. It had everything we needed, the host was very friendly, flexible and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay whilst visiting Sandnessjøen! Well recommended!

Good and easy communication, cozy basement apartment ideal for 3 people, very clean and enough storage space for luggage. Overall highly recommended, would book it again.
