Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Helen

Perfect place to stay when visiting Piedmont University. Ally and Brad were great and responded to questions quickly. They let us check in early and check out late. Great stay!

This is the perfect place it is 7 to 15 minutes away from amazing hikes, water falls and down town as well. I was really on vacation as I didn’t have to drive far. Vogel state park is 7 min away and many of the water falls are about 10 to 15 min away. The house is beautiful the host is amazing. I will be coming back and I never like to visit the same place twice but this spot was just amazing.

We had a blast. The creek and scenery was awesome. The cabin was perfect. We even got in the creek and played some. Clayton was an awesome town as well. Highly recommend.

Cathy was a superlative host. She made me feel right at home while also giving clear instructions regarding check-in and check-out. The farmhouse is commodious and comfortable. I especially appreciated the big kitchen, outdoor space, and abundance of linens! My family and I had a wonderful time here and will surely stay again if/when we return to lovely Blairsville.

This house was a perfect mountain getaway! The listing is far enough away from town that you can enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch, listening to the rooster and cows across the road, but it is close enough to amenities that you can easily pick up dinner or get groceries in Hiwassee quickly. Helen is only about 30 minutes away if you want to tube down the river or enjoy some German cuisine too! The house was very clean and the house rules were easy and reasonable. Amanda did a great job communicating check-in procedures and quickly answered questions we had before our trip. If you're looking for a cozy home away from home in the North Georgia mountains, I would recommend staying at Granddaddy's Farmhouse. We're already planning our next trip!

This mountain cabin rental was exactly as advertised. The description and photos matched the actual property. Brittany was terrific to deal with and was proactive in providing us with needed information in advance. This was a fun place to stay, and the lower level with pool, darts, other games, etc. was a nice way to spend a rainy evening. This was a good value and fair price for the property. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, amazing and perfect for a getaway with friends or romantic stay. Architecturally stunning. Great example of mid-century modern with lots of cut outs, glass and details. Not for the mobile challenged (stairs and a bit of a walk from the car parking) and lots of glass (you give some privacy with other house mates) so if that is not your thing, I wouldn't recommend it. Very quiet except when you open the doors to the waterfall. First day, some water cascading over but after a rain it was all white and mesmerizing. Beds are small but very comfortable. I was able to cook some great meals and they had a lot of items you don't always have, like aluminum foil. Took the hosts recommendation for a vineyard (distillery was the highlight) and a stop in Toccoa, GA. Just book it and enjoy.

Staying at Mill Creek Cottage was much like visiting a beloved friend’s house. We’ve stayed in some Airbnbs that were almost antiseptic and boring. Not Joan’s place! It was wonderful and quirky and comfortable - and had absolutely everything we needed. We spent five days hiking, grilling out, playing games, and just sitting on the deck watching the birds and enjoying the mountain air. If we ever head back to Hayesville I will check to see if this cottage is available!

This place was amazing, highly recommend! We were able to roam around on their 92 acres care free, and we visited some local shops. The host was so amazing to talk to and told me a little bit about the land and history which always makes things so much more personal. We are planning a trip back as we speak. It's so nice to be away from the hustle but still have such amazing things to do around the area.

Great spot for a weekend getaway with my wife. Easy walk into town and cool little sitting area next to the river. Kendra was extremely helpful with fun things going on and local insight. We would certainly stay there again when back in the area! Awesome trip!

Very unique place with more fresh eggs than you can eat and take home. Steve meets you when you arrive which nice to meet the host who is full of information and recommendations. We felt very much at home there. The location is central to the most beautiful water falls and hiking trails in North Georgia. I think we could live there. Can't wait to go back.

Great location and convenient to area restaurants, events, etc. This was our second visit and we look forward to staying here the next time we're in town. The space is clean, quiet and fun to explore.

This cute little downstairs apartment was perfect for our anniversary trip! It’s a great space for two people to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We spent our mornings on the porch swing drinking coffee and at night would head into town to eat at the recommended restaurants. The place was cute, homey, and had amazing views of the mountains!

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

Three king beds was perfect to bring my adult kids. Pet friendly and Kid friendly decor. Huge decks on the back are perfect for sunsets. Hidden creek was a special bonus for dog walks

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Cabin on the Creek celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary. The cabin was as advertised, the creek was better! Chris had everything we could possibly need in the cabin, far more than other places we’ve visited. His response time to questions and advice was superior! We’ll definitely be back, and I hope soon!!

We loved this lakeside cabin. Both the cabin and exterior were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The screened outdoor patio was great for meals. We really enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub, as well. There is a short walk to a beautiful waterfall. Access to the cabin was easy. Sarah, our host, is an excellent communicator. We would love to come back. Thank you so much.

We surely love Sandra’s Airbnb. It seem like home. All 3 king size beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting down by the stream. I would rent it again whenever we come back.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely return should the situation arise where we could come back to the Helen, GA area. I loved how close it was to lots of hiking trails and also the gorgeous Chatahootchie river. The views outside of the home were amazing as we watched the cows graze each morning.

We spent a few nights here for a family vacation and we really enjoyed it. The view was beautiful and the cabin was very cozy. The instructions to get to the cabin were very clear so that was super helpful! We had no trouble getting settled in!

From the moment we booked, Roy was incredibly communicative and helpful and quick to answer any questions The cabin itself was absolutely perfect. Tucked away in a peaceful, wooded area but still just minutes from downtown Helen, it offered the best of both worlds—quiet relaxation and easy access to all the AVF festivities. The décor had a charming, rustic Bavarian feel that fit the Oktoberfest theme perfectly. From the cozy fireplace to the wooden beams and alpine touches, we felt like we’d been transported straight to a German mountain village. We highly recommend this cabin. My mom and I truly enjoyed our stay at Quartermoon Cabin. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were transported to a mystical retreat straight out of the '70s. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and full of charm. You can really feel the love and care that Jessie and her family have put into this space—every detail in the decor, along with their personal artwork, adds to the cabin’s magical and welcoming vibe.
