The stay was great. The cottage was as described, very well equipped and very clean. At check-in, we received a small welcome gift in the form of sparkling wine & focaccia. The arrival was a little difficult, as we were awkwardly guided through a forest by Google Maps, with only one tarred road leading to the small village. So be careful here, it is better to drive 5 minutes longer than to be led through mud and slush. We still enjoyed our few days off here and can definitely imagine coming back for a longer period of time.

The Storchennest in Maust/Teichland is highly recommended. We felt very comfortable there from the first second and had a great time. We also found the climate in the wooden house very pleasant. The furnishings and amenities are of very high quality and everything is thought out in detail. The proximity to the Spreewald, the beautiful terrace and the quiet area make the stay an absolute relaxation. We will be happy to come back again!

Sparkling clean, spacious, German in the very best way. Great apartment that makes the somewhat boring town of Cottbus a great place to stay. However, you must be fit enough to climb a small 100 steps each time.

We took a short vacation at the lake as a family. The house had everything we needed. It is not far to the lake and the garden at the house is also nice to relax and be outside. The kitchen has the necessary things for cooking. From the living room you can look out into the garden. Everyone in the family was happy, happy to come back.

A super nice stylish apartment in a quiet backyard! We felt really comfortable, the place is lovingly decorated & quite well equipped. It is within walking distance to the city center and thus to many restaurants & shopping. For us, only a baby high chair would have been perfect. Highly recommend! 😊
