There are 2 bedrooms, a dining-/living-room (TV, WiFi) a small Kitchen, bathroom and hall are available. You are traveling alone or as a couple, friends or family - you will certainly feel good! Linen / towels! Heiligenhaus is situated between Düsseldorf and Essen on the edge of the Ruhr area. By car you can reach Dusseldorf in 20 minutes. In 2011 by the newly created panorama cycle Heiligenhaus is connected to the hiking and cycling trails in the Ruhr into the Bergisches Land. Also for mechanics or fairgoers suitable.

Our beautiful apartment is located in the southernmost district of Essen, in Kettwig. From the balcony on the 6th floor, you have an indirect view of the Ruhr reservoir, which is right at your doorstep (about 5 minutes' walk). The apartment has 2 bedrooms (1x 2 single beds, 1x a large double bed), a large living room with sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room. There is also a balcony with indirect views over the Ruhr and Kettwig. The living spaces are very bright and friendly.

Vacations, trade fairs, business trips, small photo shoots (only on request), weekend getaways... Do you like the other, special things? Then we're on the same wavelength. The completely renovated Degenfabrik offers you an ambience that makes time run a little slower. Parking is available, 10 to 15 minutes to the city, various restaurants and shops, regional train connection. The sports facility is behind the house. In the same building we run an art gallery that can be visited.

The highlight of the 60 sqm apartment is the 40 sqm roof terrace, where you can enjoy the sun all day. The apartment is located on the second floor of a two-family house. 11 steps lead to the house entrance. The surrounding cities of Düsseldorf, Essen and Wuppertal can be reached by car in approx. 30 minutes.

A family-friendly green oasis in the middle of the Ruhr area. The lovingly furnished country-style apartment (approx. 75 square meters) is located in a detached old farmhouse in the rural south of Essen, between wide fields and forests that invite you to hike and cycle. As guests, you can relax in the huge garden, barbecue or romp around with your children. By car, you can reach Essen city center in 20 minutes (highway exit nearby) and Lake Baldeney in 6 minutes.

The 60 m² vacation apartment is centrally located yet in a green area in popular Heisingen. Thanks to a separate entrance and check-in, you can organize your stay independently and enjoy the personal atmosphere of our home instead of a hotel room. High-quality renovated dream villa, the "forest house." Built in 1875. Here, history meets modern luxury. Relax, work and enjoy in a stylish ambience. A short distance to the airport and Messe Düsseldorf. By metro or car in a few minutes to Düsseldorf city center and at the same time directly on the nature reserve of the Düsseldorf Rheinauen, only a few hundred meters from the Rhine. The Forsthaus is located in this unique prime location.

Apartment in the countryside near the city

In our house in a small cul-de-sac (insofar as the address "Hauptstrasse" is misleading), we rent a closed 2-room apartment (sleeping/living area) on the first floor with a small kitchen and bathroom. The location is ideal for tourists, business people and trade fair visitors. Since 08/01/2025, the city of Essen has levied an accommodation tax of 5% and a maximum of €9 per night. This is included in the nightly rate.

In a picturesque half-timbered house in the south of Essen, we have an apartment for rent on the ground floor. It consists of two and a half rooms, a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. 15 minutes' walk to the Ruhr, 5 minutes' walk to the bus. There is now Wi-Fi via our fiber optic connection.
