A narrow cobblestone pathway is flanked by stone walls, leading to a door set within an aged stone structure. Sunlight filters through, creating shadows on the ground. A small window and a decorative lantern can be seen along the pathway, enhancing the rustic charm.

Blissful nest for 2, Dales National Park, Cumbria

JennyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Charlottes place is really unusual - both colourful and cosy at the same time. Lovely sofa, sumptuous bed, and space to stretch out - we found it really relaxing. The big bath is fab! We cooked a lot and found the kitchen well equipped. The view out onto the fells is expansive, and we enjoyed meeting red squirrels, seeing a hare most days and exploring local wild spaces. Would definitely stay again.

Lush green trees line the riverbank, creating a serene atmosphere. A shallow stream flows gently, with smooth stones along the edge. A person is seen standing at the water's edge, surrounded by nature, under a partly cloudy sky.

Cosy Cumbrian cottage

CynthiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It was the perfect place for our trip. My friend, my dog and I felt at home in this cottage. There was a lot nice about it but there are some things that are more important to me so il mention those. The place was spotless, the owners made an effort to have small things like biscuits and milk to make our stay more comfortable, shower pressure was fantastic and the beds were really comfortable. The place is quiet so you get a good sleep to get ready for your hikes. Loved all the touristy info in the place which we really used! It was lovely to be able to bring our doggy! 🐶🐾🐾. Thanks for a lovey temporary homeā¤ļø

Miller's Rest

EleanorRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a lovely stay at Miller’s Rest, with a wonderful welcome in the form of homemade scones and a friendly chat with Claire. The hamlet is really close to the M6 but the noise was hardly noticeable and the area so peaceful and beautiful. Really refreshing to explore on foot, even in the pouring rain! Thank you, Claire and Dave, for a great stay!

The Annexe

we know the area fairly well, and our usual place wasn't available on the dates we needed. this was perfect for our stay. The fluffy towels and great shower were lovely. basic supplies provided, and a chocolate cake :-) Bed is very comfortable too, we slept extremely well The local pub was recommended, The Stag Inn, Dufton and we had already booked ahead, for our first meal. (sirloin steak and corned beef and onion pie) We had a roast in The Mason's Arms in Long Marton on Sunday evening with our friends and it was delicious. 2 years since our last meal in there and it lived up to our expectations. we would stay here again.

Really amazing stay my family and I enjoyed our time thoroughly. The place is spotless and the photos do not do it justice. We definitely stay here again. If you have children, this is the perfect place given the amount of toys and all the play area outside.

We had a wonderful stay at Bay Horse Cottage! The place is cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Caroline and Phil were incredibly welcoming and accommodating throughout. Our little one especially loved the treats provided – thank you! We’d love to return and highly recommend this lovely cottage to others.

We stayed here for my girlfriends birthday with our dog. The house is absolutely stunning and very large - the photos don’t even do it justice!
