‘Whitechapel’ a converted church, Macedon Rangers

A magical winter retreat! This is the most charming church converted to the perfect peaceful getaway for couples—cozy, unique, and full of character. The hosts were proactive, responsive and thought of everything, and the setting is absolutely stunning. Being able to bring our clingy dog was also a bonus. Can’t wait to return!

Rustic mudbrick cottage

Maryan's place is, quite simply, wonderful. Absolutely everything you might need is provided (including some pantry and fridge staples). Flexible check in and out times were offered ensuring we didn’t feel rushed. The gardens felt secluded and so peaceful and yet, only a few minutes walk to the pub and other amenities. The house was full of beautiful art pieces - ceramics, fabric, paintings etc which made for a unique and eclectic atmosphere - we loved it. We could have stayed for another week at least and explored the Kinglake area some more. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

I stayed at Hugh’s place and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had! The house was extremely clean, well-organized, and had absolutely everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to all the comfort details in every room. It truly felt like home. Darjelyn Lodge-Tranquil mountain retreat

Lynn’s place was the perfect place for us to spend a peaceful and relaxing long weekend. The house is so spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to come together or have some quiet time apart. There were lots of games and activities for both kids and adults, a well stocked lovely kitchen, comfy beds (all with electric blankets and lovely linen) and the scenery outside was beautiful. We didn’t need to, or want to, leave all weekend!

The Temple - Country Farm Retreat

More than shown! Deepika called me to explain the house behind was empty at the time. It made the whole area feel even more private. Though we already felt like we had a lot of privacy, we were concerned about our outside lights with the house behind till we were told it was empty. We felt extremely comfortable. Animals were very friendly, and the chicken was happy to let us have its eggs! Amazing time, great cost for what you get! Highly recommend for a chill couples getaway.

Magnificent Heritage Homestead

What a wonderful historical property and so grateful that you are sharing it for others to enjoy. It was the perfect place to accommodate our 3 generation Easter family catch-up. The swimming pool was used alot along with and the beautiful gardens around the home which were all manicured. It will be great if/when the tennis/basketball area is fixed up but we made great use of the Great Victorian Bike track at the back of the property. There are views from every window in the home which makes every room a little special but our favourite was the main dinning room looking down to the Goulburn River. A special thanks to Kelvin who is very responsive and friendly. We also appreciated the opportunity of an earlier check-in and late check-out. Would highly recommend this property.
