The cabin is warm and cozy, sunny, wood burner & heat pump. location is nestled between Grandview and Lake Hāwea station. We have no light pollution making for incredible stargazing.

Welcome to Hawea Hunny Nook. Originally when Hawea dam was built in 1950s it was the explosive shed. Now fully renovated an insulated with rustic features. It has bed,dining,lounge with separate bathroom. Tea,coffee facilities an BBQ on request. Views under the apple tree out to hazelnut orchard. Close to Lake walks,bike tracks,fishing,general store, takeaway,garage. 15 mins to wanaka shops an eateries. Responsible dog owners welcome on approval. Owners house on site with 2 sociable terriers.

Self contained 1 bedroom cabin/studio 2 minutes to the lakefront and 15 minutes from Wanaka town. Mountain Views, a short walk to the lake, nature trails and 2 minutes to pub / restaurant / Takeaway / grocery shop. This cabin has a lovely comfortable double bed. It has a little kitchenette where you can cook and a new bathroom. Free WIFI! Very sunny and warm. Small deck to relax in the sun. Sauna available for guest use. $20 per use. Up to an hour. Infrared

Blue Sky Cabin

Fancy a private place with mountain vistas, big wide open skies and a comfy warm bed and fully fenced private area? This is a self contained cabin with a seperate bedroom and ensuite. The cabin is situated on the corner of a 1 acre section surrounded by native plants and a small vegie bed for your use. Its located in Lake Hawea township and is a short drive or 12 min walk to the Lake. Wanaka township is a 15 min drive.

Yaya's House.

Named for our Greek Yaya's; one who loved to host and feed people, and the other who loved to travel and adventure. Yaya's House is beautifully placed with easy access to the Lake Hawea River track, short walk/bike to the stunning crystal blue waters of Lake Hawea. 10 minute drive to delicious pastries in Albert town and 15 minutes drive to the bustle of Wanaka. A peaceful place to return to after a day of exploring.

McLennan’s Rest

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil rural getaway. One small but cosy room with bathroom in this private setting is the perfect place to relax. It is located in Hawea Flat, which is a 20 minute drive from Wanaka. This new build with beautiful craftsmanship is stylish and comfortable. The room has a cosy king sized bed, full bathroom, small fridge and an area to make coffee and tea - which is provided.
