Cathy is an extraordinary host. She is pleasant and takes good care of her guests. She treats them well. I will not hesitate to go back.

A wonderful stay in Picton! Beautiful place, conveniently located, and great hosts.

Marvin and his Son were very friendly, respective of guest privacy. The location was convenient for my purposes (i.e. work), very short drive needed for other amenities like groceries and restaurants. The room was well prepared and as described upon arrival.

Nestled in a lively neighbourhood, Helga'a house is a wonderful bungalow with a fully furnished basement. That's where my room was. She followed Covid guidelines very rigorously and was very helpful towards me. Would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Monika’s place. The suite and the building are beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable - we slept so well! Monika was a warm and thoughtful host who went above and beyond, even preparing a lovely breakfast with special touches like homemade lemon loaf. Communication was clear, kind, and helpful throughout. The space was peaceful, cozy, and full of charming details. We truly wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay again!

Helga is a wonderful host with a welcoming home! From the moment we booked, she offered helpful suggestions for things to do in the city. The bedroom exceeded my expectations—spacious and spotlessly clean. After a day of exploring and enjoying the beach, all we needed was a good night’s sleep, and Helga provided the perfect mattress and ambiance for that. She truly made my roommate and me feel at home. The next day, Helga even called to check on us and see how our camping trip went, as she was concerned about the forecasted thunderstorms. Her delicious breakfast was the perfect start to our day. Thank you, Helga, for your care and for being such a fantastic host!

Had a great time staying with Julie for our mini 1-year Anniversary getaway. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants in town, local bakery and a sandwich shop 5-10 minute walk down the road, close to the beach and the town near by. Since Julie is a great cook, I made a special desert request which she obliged with, was amazing! This was our first time staying at a BnB and is was much like staying with your aunt haha :) We got in late at night from going out on the town and that wasn't an issue. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this BnB to others looking for a legit BnB. Thanks Julie!

The Teddy Bear B&B was a fantastic place to stay whilst visiting family in the area. Karin was so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was exactly as the photos looked made for a super comfy stay. The breakfast each morning was super, with beautiful variety of cold dishes and hot food made to order... couldn't ask for anything more! Thank you Karin for being such a wonderful host!

I loved the atmosphere of her beautiful home. Nicely decorated, interesting art, pool and gazebo. Cindy is an excellent cook and breakfast was delicious and presentation in the dinning room was first class. Soft music played in the background.

We enjoyed three spectacular nights at Kings Inn, Quinte West, in late Aug. 2021. The house is gorgeously renovated in true regal style. The hosts, Candace and Pierre are wonderfully warm and gregarious and genuinely wanted to make our visit special. We chose our own time for breakfast which was a delicious gourmet experience (thanks to professionally trained Chef Pierre). We also enjoyed cooling off from the heat wave in the pool and having 24/7 access to 'The Buttery' stocked with a wide range of snacks and drinks. I highly recommend this regal B&B.

We had a wonderful stay in The Caspian room. The room was comfortable and had a really unique vibe--rustic and yet every amenity was covered. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the gardens and visiting the goats, chickens and geese. Breakfast was spectacular, and thank you for the dietary accommodation. we will be back!

Sherlyn and her husband were lovely hosts. As I was there to work the next day and had to leave earky morning, Sherlyn made sure I had a breakfast to go. The room I stayed in was small (good for 1 person, but not 2) but all that I needed. There was an in-window airconditioner so I was able to control the temperature to my liking.

WOW! This was a proper bed and breakfast experience. Karen and George were so welcoming and attentive. They had great tips on local spots and were also keen to hear our feedback and experiences with local establishments. The breakfasts were phenomenal and we woke up excited to see what would be served each day - as people who don’t normally say breakfast! They were healthy and filling, but not heavy so they set you up wonderfully for a day of exploring the county. The house and property are absolutely gorgeous and were even better than the photos. We stayed in the Roost (room with en suite) and we didn’t even get a chance to use the nice balcony - a long weekend wasn’t enough time to fully enjoy their space. The central location was a great home base, with the beach, wineries and restaurants all within a short drive. Highly recommend choosing Runaway Rooster for your PEC trip. We were treated like family and were truly sad to go when check out time came around.
