Monthly Rentals in Hartsop

A beautiful location, very peaceful. The main hall is an adventure centre, but there were no problems in respect of disturbing our stay, noise levels were minimal to none. The enclosed (very large) rear garden is fantastic for those with pooches with them, this creates a stress free way to let them wander and play. The grounds are wonderful, with a lovely woodland walk by the stream. Not forgetting the beauty of Ullswater and all of its walks and activities close to hand. We had a great time here and have already said we will return.

A wonderful stay in a lovely cottage for the two of us, our two dogs and four relatives over from Australia. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable, without being too 'fussy'. An excellent location, well suited for the Oz lot who 'did' Helvellyn and for us and the dogs who did the more sedate Gowbarrow. Everything you could need was there and the enclosed garden was great for the dogs. Thanks to the owners (who called us on the first evening to check all was well). Very highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Crook a Beck Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. It is well equipped, with a great kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower alongside a large bath. It is in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and has all levels of walks available straight from the property. We enjoyed the extras especially the lemon drizzle cake made by Judith. We will definitely books this property again on our next visit to Patterdale.

Perfect cottage in a beautiful area between Glenridding and Patterdale (easy walking distance from both). Very cosy and comfortable. We ate in every night and the kitchen was brilliantly equipped. All the essentials there and more, welcome tea, coffee, cake and loved that there was plenty of crockery and cutlery. Can walk up Helvellyn direct from the cottage - incredible! Thanks to Kate who was a very attentive host and answered all my questions very promptly.
