Waterfront vacation rentals in Harkers Island

Absolutely loved staying here! It was an end unit as described and the beach veiw from the balcony was breathtaking. Easy beach access, kid friendly unit, very clean and comfortable. It felt like home on arrival, we were able to unpack easily and still enjoy the rest of the day in the area. Stacy was very quick to answer when we had an issue and resolved it within the hour. Would recommend staying here, especially if you have kids.

The condo was really nice. The distance from the beach to the condo was less than 200 feet. Upon arriving the first thing I noticed was how clean and nicely decorated it was. Place was well stocked with essentials. There's a closet in the hall thats stocked with soap, bandaids, first aid, paper towels and everything needed. Appliances were new, clean and functional. TVs worked and the sound bar was a nice surprise as I would rather listen to music than watch TV. I can honestly say I cant think of one negative thing. Thank you for having us. We really had a great relaxing time, and thanks for the restaurant recommendations. We hit Gaffers twice but mostly sat on the deck and ate. That view is fantastic.

This is a great little place! The location was great. I admit I would have like a better view out the window, but all I had to do was take a few steps to see the water. Shirt walk to the ocean, nice pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was great! The host was very helpful and responsive. We encountered no issues and they were very generous with amenities and supplies! We loved the condo and private beach. The pools were clean and refreshing. It was great to be near so many restaurants, grocery stores, and entertainment options. We love EI and this was a very family friendly stay!

Incredible!!! Whimsical Whale was perfect for our family! We felt as if we were staying the week with a distant relative. We felt welcomed and wanted but were given space even though they live upstairs. It was a beautiful, convenient and safe location. They do fail to mention in the listing that they have just about everything you think you need for a beach trip. A storage shed full of all the beach necessities, even a grill we were able to use. I believe out of all of the beach gear we brought, we only used our wagon. She even brought us assorted chocolate covered pretzels, they were delicious. They do have WiFi, and televisions. Although the only way to stream is through the blu ray player. I would suggest bringing some dvds if you have little ones coming along. 10 out of 10, 5 stars across the board!!!

We loved this place. It was clean, comfortable, it had everything that we needed, it’s walking distance to nice places to eat and drink, that are right on the water and it has a pool!!!

We had a great experience in this cozy waterfront condo! There were lots of activities to do around the area, but we also felt comfortable staying in and taking in all the beautiful nature. We will certainly be back!

Only issue we had, guys are avid fisherman, due to low tides and timing of such, we could not dock our boat at the house. Thankfully boat launch was 2 minutes down the road so it didn’t interfere with them fishing😊. Besides that perfect vacation, beautiful water, scenery, islands to tour and very relaxing time in the evenings😊

Soul soothing visit. A quirky cottage with a lovely 180-degree view of Queen’s Creek. From inside or out one can see beautiful water views from any of a dozen thoughtfully placed chairs and benches. Whimsical spinners, musical wind chimes, and fanciful ornaments compete with bright flowers and shells to capture your attention. Expansive deck screened by magical blue passion flower vines and topped by conchs, scallops, whelks, sea biscuits, lettered olives and even a moon snail. Lemon balm planted by the steps naturally wards off insects. Landscape shaded by tall oaks and pines, edged by natural garden beds dotted with color and light attracts birds, bees and butterflies. A miniature dock is perfect for casting a line or for just simply relaxing at creek’s edge, lulled by by the sway of the marsh grass. If you enjoy photography this joyful place is for you!

Blue Skies was a gem of a find in a vacation home. When it comes time for vacation each year I spend hours looking and praying I will make the right choice. I did not go wrong in choosing this home. From communication that began with Garet from beginning to end he made it a successful and beautiful stay in his home. The pictures as accurate as they are still fail in capturing the true beauty you will experience. Our vacation becomes a family vacation as we always include some of the families of my 5 sons. They used expressions like this house has so much “character” and makes you feel right at home. It offered a place to come together as a family as well as the design offered you your own individual space to retreat to. The children adored having their own separate space. The pool is TRULY heated..in May that’s important. Views of the bay brought lasting memories that remain stored in our hearts. Not enough space to say all I could say, RENT this home it will not dissapoint.♥️

We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and private with a beautiful view right next to the canal. My kids especially had a blast fishing off the dock — it quickly became their favorite part of the trip. The setting was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. We would definitely love to come back!

Lisa’s place was great! It was cozy and the design was really well thought out. She had a lot of nice little touches and it was easy to feel right at home. The couches were so comfortable which made it super easy to relax. Lisa was really responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend if you’re coming to Oriental!

We really enjoyed Lee's Broad St house ...we used the two wonderful bikes every day to get around town! There was some utility road work on going in the neighbourhood that disrupted traffic and resulted in a bit of dust . We were not affected in the least and highly recommend this gem. Bill - Jane

Quiet spot Downeast. It was a comfy stay. Travis was super quick to respond when we locked ourself out the house. Would be happy to stay again!

Stayed here for about a week for a romantic getaway with my partner. The place was beautiful and just like the pictures. Very close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. It was so clean and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was perfect for my husband and I. There were so many thoughtful touches that we appreciated like the welcome gift, extra plush towels, fan, and super comfortable bed! The room was exceptionally clean as well which is always important. The room had everything we could have needed! We can’t wait to come again and stay here. Love, love, love! Everything as described, extremely clean and super easy access to the beach. Extra amenities all very thoughtful and so appreciated! All ramps to access beach which was perfect for my jogging stroller with my littlest! Highly recommend!!

Anita was great reaching out to make sure our arrival was good, and that there were no issues. We have stayed numerous times over the last 5-6 years. It is a great location, plenty of amenities, and feels the comfort of home. I highly recommend her place you are planning to stay in the Beaufort/Morehead city area. She is one of the best host I deal with when using Airbnb!

The condo was clean upon arrival, and the view was amazing! Lisa was very prompt at answering any questions. The balcony was small but still very nice, and the chairs were more comfortable than the normal wooden balcony chairs that have been at other rentals. It was very quiet, you couldn't hear anything from any neighboring condos. I would definitely stay here again if I chose to vacation in Atlantic Beach again.

This was definitely one our smoothest Airbnb stays. Everything was exactly as shown and the place is very accommodating and has everything you may need. The entire place is very comfortable and clean. Jennifer was extremely responsive whenever I had a question, which was seldom because most everything was already provided. The place has beautiful views, easy parking, and very accessible to the beach. And getting around to places was even easier. We also enjoyed this part of the coast the most because of the ease of access everywhere and more central location to Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, and Emerald Isle. The location made it a 5-10 minute drive to almost anywhere in these areas. We highly recommend this and will be staying again the next time around!
