Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Harkers Island

Pretty sure we found the most perfect cabin to get away to for our short trip. The cabin was easy to find.. very clean.. kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. bed super comfy . we fished off the nearby dock. enjoyed our meals on the deck while watching pelicans and ibisis and gulls flying over us. perfect place for my pup to explore the water and run in the yard. we were also happy Brent stopped by and introduced himself and gave us lots of information on the area . and it was good to know he was just a call away if we needed anything. we will definitely be back. thanks again Brent for sharing this perfect place!

We had some trouble booking and Kim was so helpful and responsive. The views were even better than the pictures. Check in and check out was a breeze! The house was free of clutter and smelled fresh. Everything was very clean especially the linens and bathrooms. Our only complaint was the floors. It seemed they may have been skipped and we had lots of grey/dirty feet at night. Otherwise, things were spotless. The bed upstairs had a loose headboard but we just wedged a pillow between to keep it from rattling. We had a toddler with us so the open stair case to the basement was a bit scary. Overall, it was great and we would stay there again, especially knowing we would have Kim’s kindness and hospitality! We enjoyed our last minute booking and think it was worth every penny! We enjoyed the kind neighbors and walking around the subdivision. It was more than enough room for 6 adults to be comfortable. We absolutely loved each couple having their own room and bathroom! Thanks, Kim!

Jimmy was very responsive and was a genuine kind guy. Made it all better me and my girlfriend’s stay. The dryer had broken and he had a whole new set delivered and set up!! Great stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was a great place to stay with dog & young boy - plenty of room outside to run & throw ball. Screened porch & outside seating made it easy to enjoy the weather & watch them play.

Everything about this stay was absolutely perfect! We celebrated my son’s 30th birthday here, and he said, “Mom, that was the best birthday ever!” The home had everything we needed and more—it was cozy, spotless, beautifully decorated, and truly felt like a home away from home. Christy was amazing—responsive, kind, and right there if we needed anything at all. This place helped make some really special memories for our family, and we’re already talking about making this a new tradition. We will definitely be back!

Very nice place to stay on Harker's Island and would highly recommend. It was very comfortable, quiet and made us feel right at home. Scarlett was proactive with all communications and ensured we were taken care of. I'll definitely be looking for this place if we take another trip that way.

Beautiful, newly remodeled cottage in a quaint waterfront community. Just a short scenic drive to the ferry, Harkers Island, Beaufort, and the beaches. We found the cottage to be very clean and inviting. It has everything you need for a quiet getaway or to use as a home base to explore the banks and the crystal coast. Diane was a great host!

Laurie was a 5 Star Superhost in every way. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very well appointed, had outstanding amenities, and pristine clean.

This is a great place to stay and relax. Tim was very responsive and proactive. We were checking in the day after a bad snow storm and he contacted us right away to let us know how the roads were and what to expect. Since it was snowy and cold, we did not get to use the amenities. But the house is located right next to the kayak launch area and it was a very short drive to the pool/club house. We come to this area often and will definitely be staying here again!

Thank you, again, for an amazing stay. This was our second time staying in this home. We utilized the golf cart and had an amazing week. Love Beaufort and the surrounding area!!

Lisa’s place was great! It was cozy and the design was really well thought out. She had a lot of nice little touches and it was easy to feel right at home. The couches were so comfortable which made it super easy to relax. Lisa was really responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend if you’re coming to Oriental!

Jesse is definitely a SUPER host and his home was perfect for our family! Would stay here again and again. We felt so at home the minute we walked through the door. I’ve never stayed in an Airbnb as well stocked as Jesse’s either. Neighborhood is fabulous and was so close to all the wedding activities we attended at The Beaufort Hotel. By far my best Airbnb experience!

We enjoyed our stay. The foosball table was a hit. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved the balconies!

We had a great time visiting Beaufort, Harker’s Island, Shackleford Banks, Cape Lookout, and Fort Macon during our trip. The home was clean and cozy with plenty of space for our family to gather. Kerri was responsive and friendly when we had questions, and we’d be happy to stay there again.

Actually ended up being upgraded to a bigger and nicer room since original room booked wasn’t going to work, host were super helpful. 100% Recommend staying in the double bed rooms, worth the price!

We had such a wonderful time! The cottage was so peaceful, absolutely beautiful and completely redone! Extremely clean and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It felt just like home right when we walked in the door. There was plenty of room for our family of three. Our 2yr old LOVED the huge yard and dock. The views of the sound from every window are AMAZING!!! The pictures just doesn’t do it justice! The sunrises were breathtaking and the night sky was just as pretty. Ms. Patricia was always so kind and quick to respond. We truly appreciated that! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Wow! We loved this lil Airbnb just as much as all the other guests! The views are amazing and we saw baby dolphin and rays and caught a variety of fish from the dock.Lots of activity in this waterway! Ie.Jumping fish. This is such a beautiful spot for a weekend getaway!!! We have already booked a return trip! Cheryl has outdone herself!

The location was exactly what we were looking for: peaceful, quiet, and private. We loved that the beaches were just a short walk away—perfect for morning strolls or relaxing evenings by the water. And the front porch had the most amazing view of the sunrise and sunset. The house itself was cozy and incredibly inviting. It had everything we needed and more. You can tell a lot of care and intention has gone into creating a space where guests can truly unwind. We’re already dreaming of our next trip back. My wife and I were visiting family in the area and wanted our own space since we had our dog with us—this spot was just what we were looking for. The home was incredibly comfortable, check-in and check-out were seamless, and everything was exactly as described. We would absolutely stay again!

Quiet spot Downeast. It was a comfy stay. Travis was super quick to respond when we locked ourself out the house. Would be happy to stay again!

This little cabin was in a secluded little spot off the main road. The bnb was spotless and we had everything we needed for our one night stay. The linens were new and very clean. My husband and I stayed with our pup on a long trip from Florida to Ocracoke (to catch the ferry the next day~ 35 min drive) and it was the PERFECT relaxing overnight getaway after a long drive. We saw mentions of lightening bugs in the reviews and were lucky enough to enjoy them during our stay as well! We were thrilled, as we haven’t seen lightning bugs in 10 + years. A storm rolled in overnight and the sound of rain on the cabin was so relaxing. I know these aren’t all things that Lianne had control of, but they were the cherry on top of this perfect little bnb. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!
