Monthly Rentals in Harkers Island

The house is great! The yard is perfectly for hanging out in and the little beach that is present when the tide is low is awesome! We went swimming and looked for seashells—just bring water shoes. There are a couple nearby restaurants and stores for groceries. Atlantic Beach and Morehead City are a 30 minute drive too.

Great 7-day stay. The house had lots of room for our huge family. Clean with tons of linens and towels. Plenty of hot water, and good water pressure for two showers at once. Hit the beach everyday so lots of washing with the outside hose, and the washer and dryer were used daily. Big bathrooms and lots of drawer and closet space for unpacking. Cooked often and the supplies were plentiful. Porch on 3 sides so it was great for keeping our beach and fishing gear dry when it rained. The house was stocked with tons of supplies (paper products, cooking condiments, trash bags, cleaning supplies, vacuum). Plenty of space to park a boat trailer and for washdown space. Absolutely would return.

Right from the start Johnna made us feel like we had always known her! Very warm and hospitable. Flexible with check-in. The place was even more beautiful than the pictures could even capture. Stunning view. We love the quiet peaceful surroundings - no loud cars as you are set away from any main roads. Stargazing at night was breath taking on their beautiful deck. We enjoyed the swing downstairs, her comfy outdoor lay back chairs, and fun clamming tools they provided underneath the house! We loved sitting in the rocking chair in front of the BIG windows in the living area...the windows were our favorite part! She was so joyful, kind, and allowed us to feel settled and right at home while going through a difficult time personally. It was such a relief to feel like we were in goods hands, and staying somewhere we could trust and felt safe! This is the PERFECT place for a quiet time for yourself, or a fun time for your family. We will be recommending to everyone we know! 5 Stars!

Loved staying here, felt homey and very cozy and quiet. It was what we wanted though with a quiet neighborhood. We went with the intentions of boating but were let down by the local boat ramp being that the water is only about 1ft deep when you get off the ramp. The airbnb was perfect though, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay if you want to spend some time on Harkers Island!
