“Amazing experience. You can tell this cottage is made with love. First of all you get picture and explanations of the easy check in. Michael gave us thorough recommendations prior to coming. When you enter you notice how loved the home is. They make it so very clean. Even the outdoor deck and seating area is spotless. The house has everything you could need even though it's a tiny house. Jan was a big help. These hosts are so helpful. Some tips for your stay- the grounds are entertaining enough. Kids loved just playing in the yard. The river current is quick. We didn't use our kayaks because we wanted to relax and had other plans but had we been staying longer we would have looked into renting a boat (kayaks would work too we just didn't want to exert much effort and it was overcast). I think it would have been fun to explore the river. We went to Hilton Head. Very easy drive. Bluffton is a cute town to stay in. We went to Driessen and Burke's public beaches. Plenty of parking. Burke's has more sand area. We always eat at skull Creek which has great food. The shopping near Poseidon restaurant is good too. There are plenty of boat docks for saltwater fishing and crabbing along the way too. On the way out there's a cute store in Ridgeland called simply Carolina kitchen and bath. Very southern decorations and kid store too. Not much else there but fun South Carolina shopping for home and south Carolina souvenirs Just like to share fun and unique things to do. “We have stayed at several rentals and Jan's place was truly everything advertised and more. She had absolutely everything that we could need for a 7 day stay. Her place was clean and felt like home to our family of 6 for the week. She was very kind and multiple times asked if there was anything we needed...her communication was great. She offered any advice about the local area and the house had many fun extra things that our kids enjoyed (popcorn maker/shake maker/dvd player/beach toys) The location was perfect as well...close to Hilton Head/Savannah/Shopping/Tybee/Beaufort. “Perfect for what we needed for a weekend at Roebling Road Raceway. My husband, our 11 month old, and I stayed for 3 nights. We ended up getting in later than we expected and they were very kind. Larry let us in and we talked to him one other time. He was very friendly. We recommend this space. Very clean & comfortable!”
