Cottage vacation rentals in Hampton Bays

Louise's place was perfect. Louise was so easy to communicate with, super responsive, kind, thoughtful and truly appreciated that she had the option of flexible dates (instead of so many sat to sat or sun to sun requirements in summer). The cottage was cozy, cute, spotless & well stocked. My teenage kids loved the hot tub (as it was a bit chilly in the evenings) and I loved the outdoor shower. We loved having the bikes to take rides around the Island and loved the location. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay there longer! We will definitely try to stay at Old Snuggler again!

I had a wonderful weekend at Andrew’s place in East Hampton. It was gorgeous, perfect location, perfect layout, and such a central location to everything. It was incredibly clean and organized and the backyard was beautiful for relaxing. Andrew was also a terrific host- he left us beverages, was super communicative and flexible and I’m so happy I stayed here. Hopefully I’ll rent again soon!!

Tabitha's place was perfect for our group stay. Right in the middle of town and perfect for what we needed for the week!

Ivana and John are the most wonderful hosts! This was truly like staying at a family cottage and everything was just beautiful. John greeted us upon arrival and even had a bottle of wine for my husbands birthday! We loved staying here from the city because it was only a little over a hour to arrive and less than a hour to South Hampton where we had dinner. Also the little town is so so cute and we were able to walk over so quickly! We can’t wait to stay here again. Thank you again Ivana and John!

Lil Nauti was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were adequate, with very comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The wardrobe space and drawers were great as we had a long stay with a lot of baggage! Jason has absolutely everything you could possibly want or need for a stay. The kitchen is really well equipped. Cute cottage and delightful private garden.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming old house. It’s full of character, beautifully maintained, and well-equipped with everything we needed. One of the highlights was the private yard — perfect for enjoying a quiet morning coffee or relaxing under the stars in the evening. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful, always quick to respond and full of thoughtful local recommendations. Thanks to them, we discovered a few amazing winery with surprisingly good wine and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This was a peaceful and authentic experience — perfect for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy the local charm. Highly recommended!

Amy was fantastic from start to finish. The house has four good bedrooms. The bottom floor is very private. Great kitchen and we loved the fact there were cooking basics like olive oil, spices, etc all there.

We absolutely loved Michael's cottage. It is a ~15 minute walk from the village and is on a quiet street. The cottage feels like a beach house but is very well appointed and homey. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

The beach house was great. Instead of being on a road, it was on a green commons area that gave it a really relaxed neighborly feel. It was a very easy and pleasant 1 minute stroll to the beach, where was a great pastry and shop, and restaurant, and some simply amazing views. Deb's communications were also great and check in went amazingly smoothly. Also the town of New Suffolk itself is quite charming, and is a perfect base for exploring vineyards, beaches, hiking trails and whatnot.

Jeanne's place was perfect for my trip to Guilford. Excellent location, close to the Green and to the water, quiet, peaceful. The house had everything I needed and more, Jeanne was super responsive and kind, and the bed was comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this spot and Monika. This is our second stay- my husband, toddler, dog and I loved it last summer and came back. The back sliding doors open onto a porch where birds chirp and visit all day. The bright green lawn under towering trees is perfect for playtime or a family picnic. Little touches of thoughtfulness and charm are just everywhere. Monika’s hospitality is unparalleled- snacks and a handwritten note upon arrival, homemade treats throughout our stay, and nearly instant responses. Without being asked, she even sent us a hand-drawn walking route for a dog and baby and directions for getting there. Beaches, playgrounds, town centers, bagels etc are a short drive. The street is busy so wouldn’t go for a nearby walk necessarily but thats pretty standard throughout the Hamptons. For parents of young kids: FYI there isn’t laundry, but truthfully I just packed more- that’s how much we liked it. A laundromat is also nearby tho!

We had a fabulous weekend at this lovely cottage. Located on a remote peninsula surrounded by the glistening water we couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience. The amenities were both convenient and thoughtful. Although we chose to dine out, the kitchen was very modern with upscale appliances and an espresso machine. We did bbq on our last night and had a great end to our 4 night stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Milton & Megan's Montauk house! It was perfect for a group of 4 (2 couples) there for a 4 day trip. The house is very quiet & peaceful, with lots of outdoor space, but also very walkable to town. The house was super clean, and everything was very easy to find. The bedrooms had lots of closet space, the TV was easy to set up, and all the amenities listed on the website were accurate. We'd love to come back again and stay. Thanks!

This was now my second trip at Gary’s Southampton cottage, and it was equally as fantastic as my first! Inside, the place was spotless, and on the porch is a grill as well as a fireplace. We took advantage of both, grilling almost every day, and capping our nights with s’mores by the pit. Gary’s cottage is in the perfect location! Downtown is only a 15 minute walk away, where you will find plenty charming boutiques as well as a CVS and some grocery stores for your convenience. The beach is only 15 minute walk away as well. Luckily, Gary is very generous and provided us with bikes, so we were able to cut those times in half. He was also very generous and allowed us to use the pool and hot tub when the main house guests were gone. Even when there are main house guests, the cottage is tucked behind a large hedge, giving you separation and privacy. Overall, fantastic place and fantastic host, highly recommend!

The place was exactly as described! Meredith was very accommodating and quick to respond. She was even able to let us check in a little early. The home is beautiful and cozy.

Susan is a fantastic host and the cottage is a lovely place to stay. Steps from the beach and a quick drive into town plus pool access right out your door. Susan was great to interact with. We definitely plan to come back.

A beautiful house that felt very spacious for its size. It was very stylish and super comfortable. The backyard was huge with a little bridge that went over the pond, and had daily visits from a rabbit, groundhog and turtle. This house is a great choice if you are visiting the area, with the Expressway a minute away, a Walmart at the next exit going east, and a deli, pizza place and gas station at the corners of your street. Looking forward to staying again

The interior and backyard of this Airbnb are absolutely gorgeous - even prettier in person. The backyard has beautiful landscaping, a lovely fire pit, lots of seating and a large lawn perfect for dogs - it feels luxurious. The interior is expertly designed with peaceful coastal colors, a working fireplace and warm lighting. There is only one bathroom, which could be tight depending on the number of guests, but it was stocked with Aesop products and everything was sparkling clean. Stephen was very communicative and provided some great recommendations, including a quiet and dog friendly beach only a few minutes away. Highly recommend!

This beautiful piece of heaven was better than we could have imagined. As beautiful as the pic are, they don't do justice to the serenity of this property. Our group already decided to come back again. Michelle was lovely and thoughtful. The house was stocked with all the essentials and more. The coziness was unbeatable. We had the best weekend with the best friends.

Deb’s place was very peaceful, comfortable, and well appointed. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed the interesting decor and personal style. It felt like staying in your own bed and breakfast. There were so many places to relax, and the front and back porches were so welcoming. The location can’t be beat if you want to check out the local wineries, farmstands, and great restaurants. An easy walk across the street to Peconic Bay, you can see from the upstairs bedroom. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need for cooking. Short ride to markets, farmstands, and Love Lane for shops and restaurants, about 20 minutes to Greenport.

Truly a home away from home! The house was well-appointed with many thoughtful amenities provided by the host. The backyard was a peaceful oasis with many areas provided for relaxation and conversation. The sun room provided additional space for games which was nice. Also, the home is conveniently located not far from shopping and restaurants. Del is a considerate and attentive host. You will enjoy your visit!
