We have a large veranda to enjoy the sunshine and a BBQ. It’s only a 5 minute walk from Hampden Beach, shops, cafes and local tavern. Just a 5 minutes drive to the Moeraki Boulders or a 20 minute walk along the beach. We are only a 25 minute drive south of Oamaru and 50 minutes north of Dunedin.

Coastal Soul came into existence when my husband living at home with Alzheimers and I felt I needed to have something else in my life as well. Our little unit/cottage where a family friend had been living became vacant and I had the perfect recipe for looking after my soul, redecorate and give the cottage a new lease in life as well as myself, unfortunately my husband has passed on but his memory will always be part of the cottage.

Rowena's place was ideal for our sisters' weekend. Such a well-appointed, wonderfully comfortable bolt-hole with a beautiful view of the bay. We sat in the sunroom looking out at the water as we talked, and enjoyed the scenic splendour of the sunrise from our respective bedrooms, which also take in the view. What a gem of a place.

This place is an absolute gem! We don't often get away due to whats involved with dogs/child etc etc. This place.... was perfection. A great bolt hole from busy life where you can unwind, listen to the waves and just chill. Could not recommend more highly!
