Our 1890s Victorian is located in the heart of the Garden Walk district on a quiet one-way street. It’s a welcoming and walkable neighborhood near shopping, restaurants, colleges, the medical campus, and entertainment venues. In 2016 we completely rebuilt the second floor of the house to create a new space that includes a private guest bedroom/bathroom/hallway for YOU as well as a master retreat for US!
“Cindy and Peter were a charming couple and amazing hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and chatting with them. They were very welcoming and attentive to our needs and beyond. The room is left untouched for 2 days between each stay for everybody's safety to ensure a Covid-free environment. They love their house and they put great efforts in updating it while keeping some of its beautiful charm. The bedroom was very spacious and had everything we needed. The private bathroom was very clean and came with all the supplies. The stay included a delicious breakfast prepared by Cindy and Cindy and Peter's cats (Jane and Missy) were adorable. We definitely recommend you to stay with them if you are planning to be in Buffalo. We hope to see Cindy and Peter (and their cats) again!”
I'm so happy to share my home in one of Buffalo's most vibrant neighborhoods.
“Caroline was an amazing host. I was in Buffalo to visit with my children and Caroline made both my daughter and me feel very comfortable in her home. And what a home it is. The bathroom, as the photos indicate, is divine. And the rest of the house is very beautiful (and comfortable). Caroline makes a great breakfast and was also kind enough to put on a late afternoon pot of coffee on a rainy day. Location wise, Caroline's place is in the heart of Buffalo's vibrant Elmwood Village. We walked to the farmer's market late one morning and to Buffalo's best sushi restaurant, (Kuni's - which is just around the corner), later that night. If you're headed to Buffalo, Niagara Falls or really anywhere in WNY, I'd highly recommend staying with Caroline. ”
The apartment itself is newly furnished and has its own private entrance. It is a one-bedroom apartment with a queen size bed. For an extra guest the living room is furnished with a roomy sofa bed. Intimate porch for morning coffee in the beautiful historic Allentown neighborhood.
“Apartment in Allentown area of Buffalo was perfect in so many ways: Thomas our host was always helpful from check in to sharing events, sites & details of the vast variety of neighborhood restaurants. Nicely furnished quiet nest, basket of fruit and muffins, and relaxing porch to enjoy the floral gardens on shade lined historic street. Amenities to this area were the walkable area cafes, galleries, unique hip shops and evening entertainment. Buffalo waterfront, historic sites and architectural gems and perfect summer weather will certainly bring us back to Western New York & staying again at Thomas’s Allentown retreat. Otto, our miniature wire hair Dachshund had plenty of intriguing walks, enjoying the shade trees and parks that abound in beautiful Buffalo!Thank you Thomas for all your kindness and friendship.”
