I almost NEVER leave a written review of my stays at AirBnB places...but this trip was exceptional and worth a few words. It was one of the very best vacations my wife and I have had in years, and much of that was due to not just the apartment but the outstanding communication and information we received from Jochen and Jakob. Friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Found a couple of wonderful places to visit, hidden gem restaurants on their recommendation, and tips for inter-city transport. We highly recommend this listing - can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful little retreat, the whole yard is really beautiful! There is everything you need in the room and it corresponds exactly to the pictures! Anne is very accessible if any questions arise!

We stayed 1 night, to go from there to Moviepark for the day. It is a nicely decorated apartment, which is clean, equipped with nice soft bedding, towels, coffee/tea, a nice coffee maker and toiletries. The drinks in the fridge, chocolates and extensive choice of streaming services are nice extras. The only thing I regretted was that the sofa bed was uncomfortable and that the curtains in the living room were not wide enough and therefore did not cover the entire window. The children slept well in the other room. This morning we were at Moviepark in 20 minutes, really great!

I really enjoyed staying here. Everything you need was in the immediate vicinity. You can easily walk into town and bus and train services are also in the immediate vicinity. Communication with the hosts went well if there was a problem. Check-in was also good. If you read the instructions correctly, then there are no difficulties😅. The Airbnb was also clean, the bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but otherwise everything was good. I'd love to come back when I'm in Bochum.

The apartment is absolutely recommended in every way. The encounters with our host Karin were also very pleasant and we really lacked nothing. A perfect place to explore the surrounding nature and attractions of the region from there.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this apartment! The location is absolutely great – located a little outside the city, so quiet, but also a perfect starting point for activities. The apartment was blitz clean and well equipped. The public transport connection is also ideal, so you can quickly get anywhere. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would stay here again anytime!

Everything was perfect, the hostess was very responsive and created very comfortable conditions with a gorgeous view of the lake, we felt at home, the reality exceeded expectations and special thanks for the compliment in the form of flowers, fruits and sweets. I recommend it 100%!

I stayed at Renate's place with my family for 5 days. Renate explained some basic instructions in messages in a short and clear way. The house is located in a quiet, tidy village. We really enjoyed the house. Comfortable, cozy with a stylish design. Highly recommended! 👍👍

We spent a relaxed long weekend with 6 adults and 2 children in the wooden house. The wooden house is exactly as described: very cozy, well equipped (basic equipment in the kitchen, enough towels...) and very idyllically located. The communication with Norbert in advance and on site was very friendly and uncomplicated. We would come back.

Me, my husband & 9 month old stayed in Ulf & Charlottes apartment and it was honestly wonderful. Beautifully presented and had everything we needed and more. Bella’s place is a bit of a gem. A large two bed flat, with great living space. Location is quiet and peaceful and we were able to walk into the city. Plenty of public transport too. Communication was great.
