Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hallstatt

This stay was simply amazing - the view from balcony, while having some tea or coffee, is stunning. Nights are very calm and you will wake up like a newborn! The process of entry was easygoing, Alexandra explained everything well - she even help us to get the summer cards for Dachstein (those cards grants You some discounts in the area around, but it is limited to spend at least three nights at the area). Place is also very close to all main sightseeing and hiking spots - Dachstein, Gosausee, Grundlsee, Wolfgangsee, Altausee, Hallstatt, ... Parking is right in front of the house. Simply 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment in Ainring. The check-in with Johanna and Birger was personal, uncomplicated and very warm. The place was sparkling clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need. We especially liked the quiet location – perfect for relaxing. Communication with the hosts was excellent: Johanna and Birger were super friendly and had great tips for excursions in the area. We felt completely comfortable and can absolutely recommend the accommodation!

Highlight of our Austrian vacation. Beautiful location, peaceful and quiet. Place is well built and maintained with all amenities needed. 10/10. And to Claudia and her family, 100/10. She was most helpful and polite, always available and did more than one can even ask for. If you find it available, book it.

This was one of the best airbnbs I’ve been to. An absolute dream- the sweet sheep in the yard and the views from the windows are incredible. We came for Hallstatt but Obertraun was our absolute favorite. Also the host let us borrow bikes which made our trip even more incredible. The bike paths were stunning. 10/10 stay!

We wish we could give more than five stars. Highly recommended. Gunther and Christa are warm, generous hosts. The apartment is even more attractive than the photos, filled with good artwork, comfortable furnishings. Don't miss their recommended Cantinetta, Falkenstein restaurants, walks around the lake and the ferry. We even plunged into the clear lake at the little beach just steps away. Beds are comfy and the kitchen well equipped. We will always look back fondly at our time in St Gilgen.

We had a wonderful time at Karin's place. Karin's parents welcomed us very lovingly, with an extra toy basket for our 18-month-old daughter, tips for the area and just a nice conversation. The accommodation is quietly located on the upper floor - you have your privacy and everything your heart desires. The garden was also great. We will be happy to come back.

Daisy and Alexander’s place was fabulous! A really great location - 20 minutes walk from old town or a very easy bus, right next to a big supermarket, private parking etc. The apartment was perfect for two of us, a good bit of space and had everything we needed. Daisy and Alexander were lovely - probably the most responsive and helpful air b and b hosts we’ve had. Loads of recommendations about the local area, and generally super friendly!

Marius was a wonderful host welcoming us and showing us around the house. He was also very responsive in the communications and always there to offer help and guidance. The view from the house is breathtaking, scenery and absolute peaceful silence. It was just what the doctor ordered for us to rest and recuperate with nature but not lacking any convenience. House itself was very comfortable, roomy and very clean. We visited Altausee and Grundlsee which were quite closeby and highly recommend. On Sundays, there is a self service grocery store in Altausee that we utilized as everything else was closed. We highly recommend Marius' place to anyone visiting the area.

The apartment is just like on the photos: a lot of space, a lot of light and breathtaking views. Super comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and many games like table tennis, mini billiard and more. A huge bonus in a hot weather is an access to the private lake few steps from the building.

Lovely little place in the heart of Salzburg. Historic building in a historic part of the city that was within easy walking distance of all the sights. The place was exactly as described. Highly recommend doing the Park and Ride via bus because parking is extremely difficult and expensive. Recommend!

We had a great time in the apartment! Everything was super clean and very well equipped. The pool was particularly convenient in the same building. The location is great – in a few minutes you will be at the lake or at the Schafbergbahn. Ideal if you like to hike or just enjoy nature. Check-in was totally straightforward and the host was super helpful – with lots of great tips for excursions and restaurants around. The view from the balcony to the mountains was also particularly beautiful – simply fantastic. We would come back anytime!

Loved the view and the nature around the place

We absolutely enjoyed the apartment with our two children (2 and 5). It is absolutely clean, child-friendly, and really has everything you could need. Especially the connection to the Falkensteiner Cristallo was great for us - there we could use the pools and children's pools and the children's program. Just perfect for families We definitely want to come back.

Katrin's place is great for a getaway. She made us feel right at home quickly and provided lots of recommendations in the area. We will have to visit again as there were so many nice things to do. The house was cosy and the outdoor space was great to relax.

Well-located apartment near ski resorts. The apartment is perfectly equipped with a large and spacious terrace with a great view. Clean and big enough for a family with two kids. We'd love to come back.
